I think maybe since there really isnt any interviews set up yet.

what if he went to Ross and said I promised you a good offense i will take responsilbity and i will do the play calling and handle it on the offense side?

kind of like the packers HC & the system they use?

Yea unfortunately Philbin was the OC for the PAckers that the HC called the plays for so not sure that's a great idea

I'm fine with it.

Either way is a win-win situation.

I would actually be good that. I understand the concern since he didn't actually call plays in Green Bay, but he put together the game plan each week for the Packers. He just didn't physically call the plays on game days, but I don't think it would be too much for him.

The guy can barely throw a challenge flag without 30 yes votes from the booth how the hell he gonna manage calling plays?

How did Joe do in Green Bay when he called plays?

Even I could look like a genius calling plays for Aaron Rodgers.

And yet he had an excellent track record with his challenges. High %

He trusts his people and works with them. Much rather have that than a demonstrative HC that throws the red flag cause he's mad at a play, or thinks he saw something he didn't. So many coaches in this league fail with the red flag.
