yes that would leave a big hole,
so lets think about it,
what would we have left,
if we never got any lb in f/a, boy we need to pick 2 or 3 in the draft.
but that would use up some good picks.
and we might miss out on the nt that we need,
hope to get nt in the first round and then go for 2 lb with our next 2 picks.
lets hope he stays fit.

Exactly. If Porter went down, Wake takes over. If Roth goes down, Anderson would take over. We don't really need to use a high pick on OLB.

Now if we don't sign Crowder or Scott...we do need to draft us an ILB or two.

I think we could replace Joey Porter decently . . . the ONE PERSON u can't have go down is Jake Long.

Everybody else we could manage, Jake would be disasterous. We need depth at OT . . . badly.

Well the one thing I can say about that is, we were able to give some young Guards playing time this season, and they are experienced. Maybe coaching was bad on the Line, and that is why we fired Maser. But guys like Alleman and Ndukwe have talent, they need coaching and they also have experience. I honestly think we could manage at Guard better this year if we had both starters go down.

If Jake goes down, oh man.
