What if Ricky...

Well, we gave up two first round picks for Ricky for a reason. He's one of the best RB's in the NFL. Ronnie better d@mn well be too. I think it's a nice problem to have!

Am I the only one who wants ricky to end his career (presumably for good this time) in miami? I hope he plays two more years, fulfills his obligations to this team and has his 8.6 million dollar debt cleared. By then, ronnie will be ready to carry the load after two years of splitting carries with (and learning from) ricky. Then we can all wish ricky the best in whatever his future endeavors may be.

I am with you on that, prior to last year people couldn't stop saying nice things about Ricky. Saban used a 2 back system in LSU, whay couldn't he do that he if the cap allows him to...

Then we trade him as soon as we can.He said himself hes got two years left in him. He's not staying around long.

What IF?

IF RW's better by leaps & bounds, as you say, then I believe you keep RW healthy (trade bait), but also make sure Ronnie gets his snaps, so he can be the man next year. May be only a matter of time before RW jumps ship again. I don't trust him, and even though I accept his apology and hope he helps us, he's still a flake & should be traded. Ronnie, Gordon & KJ are a nice threat. And I don't believe RW's going to be that much better then Brown anyway. If you watched some tapes of Brown, he has what it takes to be the man. And I can't see him being that much below RW. Less experienced YES, but less talent NO. Browns the future. Go Miami!

Ricky already said he doesn't want to play more than a couple of years. He'll be hard to trade if that's the case. But I'm perfectly fine having Ricky around for a couple of years, teaching Ronnie a thing or two (besides, Ronnie never had to endure a 16 game schedule before, it'll be nice to keep him fresh). Having two unselfish backs worked well for Auburn, works really well for Pittsburgh now.

Imagine the play action possibilities with those two in the backfield.

I don't even care who's playing anymore, the Ricky-Ronnie thing has gone beyond boring to the point of TOTAL MENTAL OBLIVION.
