Very interesting read.

Fins actually make out better than listening to the talking heads.

Not really a ringing endorsement in my eyes, we kind of paralleled them Anyway.

Wouldn't mind listening to them this year. We need DB attention and the 14th pick is a great spot to address that. Waynes is a good pick.

WR is fine, not something I reach for tho . . . plenty there on day 2.

The one that will always stick out for me is taking Misi over Kindle.

I remember everyone kicking and screaming for Kindle. Shame what happen to him. He's selling cars now, and Misi is a solid 4 year starter.

agreed. if Cooper, White and Parker are all gone Waynes is a solid choice.

Yea, I really really want to go Offense at 14 but Waynes had a really nice combine. He is the ONLY Defensive player i'll take and be happy with at 14, barring some insane slip to Gregory or Beasley or something.

im still upset over the Dion Jordan pick.....cause he has not done anything for being the 3rd over all pick...just saying....maybe give him one more year to see what he's got and them move on if he does not improve...thats just me though

i like waynes too... been talking on him able to fit into our scheme due to his awareness and athletic ability to run and move well and cover... plus he is easy coachable from a michigan state aspect. people say he is all press due to his size and length, but he actually doesnt play all that physical. I like what he can do for us!!!

Mel Kiper is dumb!!!

Goes to show u what a crapshoot the draft is... They do nothing but study draft prospects and they haven't gotten it right for us either.

I wouldn't mind Waynes this year but after running 4.35 and 4.32 today he might go top 10 along with the top 3 WRs... A lot still needs to happen before the draft, but it looks more and more like we'll have to settle for an unsexy name like Malcolm Brown, La'el Collins or DGB/Jaelen Strong... As much as I'd hesitate to draft a runningback coming off of an ACL in the first round, Todd Gurley may well end up being the best player available.

Waynes is the correct pick this year. It is not always that way but this year it is. There are several WR to be had in the 2nd and 3rd. Waynes and Doresett and I'm REAL happy. What happens after those 2 picks don't even matter to me...... Sad is that is not reality. Doresett will move up peoples board.

If none of the studs fall we need to trade down a bit and we can still draft one of the other guys like Malcolm Brown, La'el Collins, or DGB and pick up a an extra 3 rd pick or if we're lucky get an extra second round pick!?! I would be nice to have two second round pick and still draft La'el Collins or Malcolm Brown!

I'm not a big Waynes fan in this draft, for this team. I see CB as our #1 need but, am hoping we sign one in FA. I'm thinking that Grimes will be gone within 2 years, and a FA contract can be absorbed.

Waynes has played a lot of the same scheme that we currently play. He would give us some actual speed at the CB spot. Would be a great pick to solidify a need and BPA theory. If Taylor can keep improving we could jettison Grimes next year and go with Waynes and Taylor. Would be nice way to have it work out. I agree Waynes is probably top 10, probably always was a top 10. But if he climbs that pushes maybe Shelton down to us. Nothing wrong with that pick either.

Looks like Ireland has a future in getting paid to do mock drafts for entertainment (?) value only.

To be fair to Kiper and McShay -- or any mock drafter -- they're not projecting picks based on what they necessarily think a team should do. They're trying to predict what they will do. Different game altogether.
