What if the top 3 picks do not contain a QB? What if it goes Johnson, Thomas, Peterson. Do we stay where we are at knowing we probably get 1 of the QB's or do we move up to get the one of our choice?

Do not think Quinn is a top flight Franchise Qb...he feasted on low rent competition was really inconsistent against better competition.

Russell is overrated. Arm strength is nice however how many 70 yard passes do you see in the NFL.....none! Against the top 3 SEC defenses he threw for 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions with a long completion of 37 yards, hardly bombs away. Lost to Auburn and Florida with the win coming in the last seconds versus Tenn.

We should stay where we are at or trade down and get our QB in the second round.

Aaron Rodgers was being considered as overall #1 before his draft but fell all the way to 17.

Strange how these things turn out.

Go Gators!

rodgers fell to 24 to the packers

I'm hoping Russell isn't even on our radar so I would hope we'd trade up anyway for Quinn.

It sure sounds like a lot of the NFL draft gurus and pundits think that JaMarcus is hot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaZ-8svYalg&mode=related&search=

He has the big arm, a little mobility to run, AND he's been pretty accurate. They say his touch throws aren't too bad. Not near as good as Peyton or Brady, but adequate. He has a lot to learn this year. He better work his butt off like Vince Young did and master that playbook and all those little things. He can't run if he gets in trouble like Vince can.

JaMarcus had trouble against Auburn and Florida ... but you know how the SEC is ... on any given Saturday about 6-7 SEC teams can win. Auburn beat Florida and LSU and then turned around and lost to Arkansas and Georgia. Doesn't make sense a lot of years. The SEC sure showed the strength of the conference in the National Championship game against Ohio State. I was impressed with the Gators a lot in that game. The Gators know how to recruit guys with speed, that's for sure.
