What if Philbin had been fired - How many, if any, teams would want to hire him to be their head coach?

How many would be interested in him as an OC?

That tells me what he is really worth.

He may have drawn interest as an OC. I don't believe any team would want him as a head coach.

Ross has failed his team and their fans by keeping Philbin.

This post is weird. These hypothetical questions tell you what he's worth?

Simple question - Which NFL teams would be chasing Philbin if Ross had fired him? I don't think any team would want him. Hence he has no value as an NFL head coach. Its weird that you can't process a simple question.

(Considering they had an opening) I could see a team like Minnesota, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, or NYG going after him, some northern team with a lot of routine talent acquisition and hire some good coordinators.
Unfortunately, Joe's just that: only as good as his team and coord's. His strategist skills and leadership qualities leave much to be desired, and I think that will continue to keep him from breaking into the top 10 any year as a HC. He's painfully average.

He wont draw interest for anything, he will go right back to Green Bay making powerpoints. Whenever Philbin is done here, he is going right back up to Green Bay, guaranteed.

Head Coach? Never again.

Even OC would be a reach since he's never been a real one before. He's very unqualified for most things.

he would go back to GB not being an actual Coordinator. that was just a title when he was there. I don't see anyone trying to get him to be a coordinator. position coach maybe. who knows. we are stuck with him

What if Finnegan makes a tackle inbound... What if we make one more stop in the Denver game... What if Albert doesnt get injured... Football is full of what ifs. You`re better off sticking to reality...

The reality is that no other team would hire Philbin to be their head coach. That's the point of the question. Too bad you weren't able to figure that out.
