”I don’t know what you guys think, if you’ll still call me The Beast or if you think I’m washed up,” Marshall said. “I consider myself a monster now. If you see a beast, you should run because the beast is really scary. I don’t want to be that anymore. You think of ‘monster,’ you know it’s like a little nightmare. You should be scared, you should run, but at the end of the day he’s not going to hurt you. I consider myself a monster now, and I’m going to play that way on Monday night.”http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...sweblog+(Miami+Dolphins+|+Sun-Sentinel+Blogs)

I think he is trying to forum a coherent thought, but it looks like he failed.

so monsters on the surface seem like they are "scarey" but upon closer inspection it was just a shadow on the wall that doesn't ammount to anything. seems like marshall all right.

Let him fight Cromartie.. it will be funny to see. If he gets ejected, well I guess thats less offensive firepower for Matt Moore to ball with lmao. Maybe thats his plan, Ejected for Luck

if he's trying to suck he's doing a good job

Trying to fire some ppl up?

I look an on field fight would be good for this team...

They have no heart!!

Well, you figure the quarterback and one of the team captains was just lost for the season, so there is now an absence of some leadership on the offensive side of the ball and perhaps on the team as a whole. Marshall appears to be trying to step into that role, albeit with the flair and precision of someone with a personality disorder.

This can go one of two ways: if he plays well, he may actually become a leader and spur the team on; if he plays poorly, he may self-destruct and become a distraction and a nuisance.

I don't think it bodes well that he'll likely be covered predominantly by Darrelle Revis Monday night. He should've picked a different week to start calling attention to himself as some kind of leader. Now he has to live up to that during a game where he stands a much stronger chance of being shut down completely, thus making it more likely that he self-destructs and becomes a nuisance.

And if that happens, due to his personality disorder, you're likely to see it unfold in vivid color right on your TV set.

Motivate himself and the team and win some games.
Sure, but he should've waited until his performance got better before he started doing that verbally.

The last thing I wanna hear if I'm on a team is the guy who's been largely responsible for the poor play of the team, trying to rally me verbally.

Hey pal, get out there and catch a touchdown pass for once, and then try to motivate me.

What this shows, IMO, is that he doesn't have the makeup of a leader, because if he did he would know this already.

where as I am not an advocate for on field nonsense.....I frankly think that seeing him go "Courtland Finnegan" on someone would resonate to the other players. SOMEONE has got to step up and show some fire on this team!!! It would show that he at least cares, rather than this "oh I dropped a TD pass, we'll get em next time" type of crap he has been showing.

If we lost every game, but did it with fight and a never say die attitude it would be at least great to watch. Right now we look uncaring and disinterested in fighting for victory. We need some passion like this!!
