Matt Moore? That's excellent. With the ability to carry an extra QB on your P-squad, getting developmental guys is always a smart strategy. I believe the Pats carried 4 QB's Brady's rookie season because they liked his potential as well...

A Dallas Cowboy. He was snatched up pretty quick. For all due purposes Pickney from East Carolina is the only guy I was aware of that actually made a visit to Miami. He has yet to sign, but would seem the choice.

As an undrafted FA you look for some real sleepers at times...but Justin Zwick has not been signed as far as I can tell and he has a very good arm but was stuck behind a great COLLEGE QB and may have what it takes to really surprise some people....Mike Mason of Tenn. Chatt is a burner that could not "cut it" in class at UNC but has world class speed and was a top 10 HS recruit much like Zwick. David Overstreet is another I have not seen on any list ...other than rumored to be headed to Chicago...a sentimental choice, but he can play some...

I selected these players b/c all have something to prove and could possible add some interest during training camp

Moore & Myles push (Vick, Campbell (injury prone), Hakim (age))
Harris (he has a motor on the field, though small in size)
Selvin Young (possible PS rb may be better than the once we have)
Pickney (one of my brother seen him play, he has poise in the pocker just not the competition to play against

IMHO Bo Smith and Ryan Moore are the best on that list.....lets hope.....
 
Does anyone know what's happneing with David Ball or Walter Thomas?

And we chose to go another route I guess.

We did sign two big wrs from small schools (Southern Oregon and Sam Houston ST.).

We have picked up 2 OTs, 2 OGs, 1 DE/LB, 1 LB, 2 WRs, and 2 CBs. The most notable of that group is M. Bruce, the defensive end from Washington st. (6-6, 260), and Wilson, an offensive tackle from UAB (rated a 4th round pick). The two corners are interesting. Tuff Harris is a native american and has returned a number of kicks back for touchdowns at Montana. Pope, from Howard, runs in the 4.3 range but is "raw". I expect they will sign a quarterback and maybe a couple of other offensive players.
