Heyy Dolphins Fans,

What will Miami do with there 1st round trade with someone on Miami or get the 1st rounded QB you chose or pick think of a team that would trade someone for a 1st rounder and someone else!!

Miami also has the 17-0+The superbowl victory, Giants beat New England so they keep that record and be the only team to win every game and complete the PERFECT SEASON!!!!:hi5:

why that is a waste of a pick, why take john beck with the second round pick last year if we are just going to take another quarterback in the draft high this year? i say we give beck a chance bcause noone can base anything on his performance that he had last year.

we have much bigger needs on this team than matt ryan.

Trade it if at all possible for as many draft picks/good players we can get.

The new regime does not care what the last regime did with last year's picks, and the fact we used a 2nd round pick on John Beck last year will not factor into their decision making if they don't think Beck is the guy.

That would be a bigger mistake than trading our 2nds for Culpepper and Feeley.

Why would it be a mistake drafting Ryan?? He's got all the physical tools needed to succeed at the next level, he's extremely smart, and he's the top QB prospect in the nation right now. I don't think it would be a mistake drafting Ryan at all, I think it would be a very wise future investment for this franchise....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

IMO there is almost no chance in drafting a QB in the first 5 rounds unless joe flacco falls to the late 3rd round. With beck having the potential its a little stupid with the many holes needed. Beck, Green, another FA and maybe a qb from a later round should be our QB's and let them all compete for the spot.

With the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins announce a TRADE with the COWBOYS. Miami will receive Dallas' first 2 picks LB Carpenter, 2009 1st rounder.

Dallas takes MacF and we dont have to play against him TWICE a YEAR if he's with the JETS.

The only way we take Ryan is if we trade down, he is not a # 1 pick.
We all scream about the picks we used on QB's the past few years and now we want to use a # 1 on a guy that last year would have not have been even talked about in the first round.

We need defense early in this draft.

I am currently torn between Glenn Dorsey and Matt Ryan. I presume I won't come to a final decision until free agency plays out.

That said, I could make a good argument for both.

Also, in regards to drafting a quarterback, forget the past. We spend nearly a decade trying to find shortcuts to finding a quarterback. That was stupid. We should have done what we may do this year. Draft a guy with all the skills high and let him develop.

I hope we dont draft a qb with the 1st...Im hopind dmac, ryan, dorsey, etc have great combines so we have a chance to get out of the number 1.

I don't see us trading down, the 'Boys would be real dumb to trade up for McFadden, when Barber is a fully capable starting back and they'd have to pay McFadden an absurd amount... I like Chris Long with this pick. I'm too worried about Dorseys knee & back problems. If somehow the 'Boys trade up for McFadden, I'd like us to snag Mike Jenkins and Kenny Malcolm Kelly...

well that would be a crappy evaluation then. How can you evaluate a guy behind a mediocre offensive line, in his first season in the nfl, with the entire load thrown on his shoulders to save the history of the team by not losing every game in the season. now obviously we did win a game, but every put so much on beck to win when he came on the field. personally i think he made some pretty damn good throws in the games he was in. remember also who he was surrounded by, being a bunch of receivers who couldn't catch a ball to save their lives. speaking of mistakes, drafting matt ryan first pick would be one. this team has too many needs, and i for one am willing to give beck a chance next season, seeing as we already have a long time ahead of us to try and rebuild this once proud, now mediocre franchise.
