A loss by NE or a loss by Denver?
If NE losses, it keeps the Dolphins within a game of the division lead. That would just make it a must win for the Dolphins to win in Foxboro and we know how that went last year. This would put the Dolphins a 1/2 behind Denver for the last wild card.
If Denver losses, it keeps the Dolphins as the last wild card team at 5-3 and it gives them a 1/2 game lead.
I still think that it would be better if Denver wins the game, that way the Dolphins can still get a home game in the first round (don't know if that is good or not this year). I don't see the Dolphins getting a first round bye again this year.
