I see people talking about we hired the wrong people, Wayne Huizenga sucks, and Baltimore is a for sure loss all because of Sunday. Look here people, our young rebuilding team has already doubled last years win total. We killed the same Pats that beat the Jets without Brady, and crushed the Chargers who are a SB contender. We lost to the Texans because of a GREAT CATCH BY A GREAT WR on 4th down and our defender could'nt have done anything better. Yeah we shouldn't have been in man coverage on the goal line without accounting for the QB but our coach is a ROOKIE too. We got better in that game because our kids and rookie coached learned something new. That is how you tend to get better when your rebulding by learning from screw ups and seeing great players making great plays in big games and wanting to do the same and working harder to be like that. The sky isn't falling chicken littles and the best is yet to come.:woot:

I can easily sum that up with 1 word... CLUELESSNESS

maybe I'm reading different stuff....but I don't see a lot of that. After the Arizona game it was ALOT worse.

i agree with everything you just said...look at Jimmy Johnson back in 89 or 90...a college football coach who won a National Championship at Miami and then got hired to coach the Cowboys...he was a pro rookie HC who built Dallas up and won 2 SB with them...the same thing will happen with us with Sparano...we just need to be patient and watch the Trifecta build our team back up and win a SB or 2.....

You know what I've read more of in the past couple of days than anything are people telling other people to calm down, the sky isn't falling, chill out chicken littles, etc.

I know personally, there's nothing I like more after a loss than to read about how I, and presumeably, everyone else besides the person posting should calm down.

Well maybe their is only 3 post saying that the as more fans get woke up and started the effects of clulessness tends to run wild. I thought I would try to keep the pessemism down a little by posting my opinion early. I was'nt around after the Cards game or any other game since week one so I don't know how the boards have been leaning as far as pessimist, realist, and optimist go.

It takes all kinds. It was a hurtfull loss as any loss is. But pointing fingers at people that has nothing to do with it and crying don't change a thing. We are rebuilding and people need to accept it and get a clue of what that means.

AFAIC, so far the team is EXCEEDING reasonable expectations. We've won 2 of our last 3, against formidible opponents, had a good chance of winning the Jets game and should have won last Sunday. To me that spells C-O-M-P-E-T-I-V-E! And that's more than we were most games last year, even the way we looked during all those 3pt losses. Last year was more chance.. these victories are deserved.

We have a promising QB learning from one of the best possible mentors who's keeping us competitive, a franchise OT, a high potential OL and DL (including several young studs), and some smashmouth LBs. We have one of the best RBs in the game and an astute talent evaluating FO whose wheeling and dealing takes more out than it gives up (and when was the last time we struck gold on the first 4 draft picks???)

Sure I'd like us to win every game, but so long as we stay competitive, our youngsters develop, our units gell and our high quality HC (look at the Dallas OL this year without him) continues to learn from his rookie mistakes, I'm fine with WHATEVER record we end up with this season. It's all about building the foundation for the future.

Pointing fingers is part of sports. It's SOMONE'S fault when a loss happens, and, finding where the problem is, is a necessary part of an troubleshooting process. Finding the problems are also part of a rebuilding process. We expect the coaching staff to be tough. Why can't we expect the fans to be tough as well?

I know we are almost all hardcore fans and get upset and hurt with losses. I have broke many remotes and even playstation controler over losses. I tend to think I am one of the most optimistic fans around and get on players and coaches as much as anyone else but this year is differant. We have not only been more exciting and tricky every week but we have changed the NFL already with everyone copying us using formations and plays everyone said wouldn't work in the NFL. We are on a differant path IMO and being the critic I am I can't throw stones yet. I may be a little over the top telling people to calm down but it's just my opinion ands how I feel at this point in the EARLY season. I am extremly confident in what is transpiring and wished all fans could see what I'm seeing. My apologies for going a little over the top. But no blame should go to Wayne, thats just rediculous IMO.

Nah, it's all good man. I get what you are saying. Honestly, I was one of the more loudmouthed of the TunaCo detractors after the first two losses. What I saw was a team that, despite lack of talent (Not TunaCo's fault at this point) was being outcoached, looked lost, and was more of less inept. There was no way I was going to sit back and accept a season of being blown out, or simplylooking awful in the name of rebuilding.....Well, and, be happy about it anyways....

What I have seen over the past three games is improved gameplanning, outside the box thinking and, a bunch of guys who quite honestly, aren't all that good getting out there and overachieveing. All that has to do with coaching. I've seen enough over the last three games to have changed my mind, and as long as it keeps going this way, you can clear out a spot on the bandwaggon for me.
