I think the announcers messed alot of people up by confusing the stat and saying CC had 7 drops when the stat graphic read Dolphins Receivers had 7 drops... I see alot of people still claiming CC had 7 drops.

So, had anyone actually got a LEGIT count on the amount of drops he had? I know he had 3 for sure.. But all the other receivers did too.. Including McMike and Welker. Welker had 3 too I believe.

i thought he had 2... catchable balls that were dropped, there was also that one that they thought was caught but was overturned, but that was an impossible catch to begin with...

He did have plenty of drops. I didnt see him with 7 but I did see the thing on the screen that showed the Miami Dolphins had 7 drops. The reason everyone thought it was Chambers was because they showed him with the graphic. But the graphic did say the Miami Dolphins and not Chambers. But then right on cue Ronnie Brown dropped a screen pass.

I have watched the 4th quarter 3 times and never heard them say he had 7 drops. Will check it out when I go home. Saw the stat on the screen that "Miami had 7 drops" but not CC.

I counted at least 5. Two bounced off his hands and one off his chest. They should have been caught. Then 2 others were tough tries that would have been great catches had he caught them.

Randy McMike dropped a few also.

Yes, the announcer said it, then they showed at stat saying 7 drops.

I didn't see McMike with any. Gilmore had 2 or 3, Welker had one, Ronnie had 1.

McMike had one over the middle that bounced off his hands and another one on one of those funky plays that I think we try and call screens, he started hitting the ground like he was mad at the QB, but replay showed it again, bounced off his hands.

CC does this every game. He makes these amazing leaps and one-handed grabs... then drops the easy passes. No, he didn't drop 7 passes yesterday, but it seemed like he did because he missed a few obvious ones. Then again, he made the ones that counted :)

Why does everybody care so much on how many he dropped... he had the ball thrown to him how many frickin times? And how many gamebreaking catches did he make? And who caught the game winning TD?

ya i think he had 4 drops

Ya know Lucci.... your picture is identical to the picture of ronnie browns hurdle this last game... just on the opposite side of the field... interesting...

Yeah but don't forget who the announcers were. They are one bad call away from tending bar at the CBS Christmas Party. I know one guy was Burlein who never amounted to anything. Who was the other guy?

Not exactly CBS' Crack Announcing team.
