They will win tonite.. I know they play the Buccs and the Bills still.. but who else?

We need them to drop 2, and have Miami go undefeated for the last game of the season to mean anything right?

they are in bad condition because they know they can not beat us with sage at the helm:evil:

Sage, QB of the future... You're crazy!

I really think they will need to lose 3 games because they will have the division record tiebreaker over the Fins.

They will probably win the division even if we beat them. They can clinch with a win next week.

Ya, but if they lost 2 games before playing us, we would have a chance to have a better record than them if we beat them.. But ya, they would have lose 3 games total, including to us, to not win the division.

Of course, the Dolphins would have to go undefeated the rest of the way in the process..

The biggest obstacle in the way of that is SD..

It would be great to have the last game of the season mean something.

Only with a Dolphins loss.

It's so amazing what could have been if they could had pulled that game out against the Pats. Right now they would be tied for first with the Pats.

I know, IF's don't mean anything but there were so many games they were in and blew at the end, Bills, Falcons, Pats. The Pat game I still feel was the biggest, that is a 2 game swing in the standings. The division was with out a doubt there for the taking this year, just sucks that nobody else seemed to be able to step up and take it from the Pats. We shall see if the Fins can find a way to pull it out, it's not impossible.

Pat & our chances

Their other remaining games besides the one's your mentioned are the Jets again (in Jersey) & us (at NE). TB could win & if the Bills can beat them then it will still mean most likely that we'll have to go into NE on New Years Day & beat the Pats for a playoff shot. If we win our next 3, but lose to the Pats then we need them to lose their next 3. Reason being, because if we end up tied w/them we loose (division record). **Technically we wouldn't have to win all our final games but it obviously helps

No!

They can't clinch next week! We'd have to loose too. Bottom line is we need them to really fall apart for us to get in. It's a long shot, but not impossible for us to still get in. I just wished they had a harder schedule coming up!

NE has to go play Buffalo in Buffalo next week. I would expect the Bills to be pissed about the loss to Miami this week. There is a chance that the Pats will lose that one. Then, NE has to play Tampa. Tampa is playing well this season. They will be playing for the playoffs. NE could lose that one too. I doubt NE will lose to the Jets, but the Jets will be at home. That may help the Jets pull out a win. It is very feasible for NE to lose two of their next three.

Miami will have to win the season out to make the playoffs. That is far less feasible than NE losing two of their next three. But if Miami gets passed SD next week, they will have a great chance to win their next three, which would mean Miami could finish at 8-8 or 9-7 and maybe make the playoffs. That is what Miami should focus on - finishing at .500 or better.
