I read where he was in the best shape of his life. Supposedly he is lean and mean at 6'6" and 310lbs. He was drafted as an OT, sat out a year, reacquired a fire in his belly after seeing life in the real world and he's back. Any thoughts on whether he has any kind of a chance to even linger on the practice squad?

God know we've got some 'injury waiting to happen' players playing tackle for us right now, it'd be nice to have a little bit more depth.

Well, on second thought i guess we do have some good depth at tackle...but a good motto to stick to is "you can nevrer have to many offensive lineman"

wow dude, glad you know these things

Tony Pape was 295 pounds at the minicamps not 310

I just took his stats off the roster my friend. Good to get the first hand low down from a locker room insider. Towelboy?:goof:

Think what you want but Tony Pape himself said he weighed 295 pounds. If you want to believe what the weights are on the roster then go right ahead and be my guest. :shakeno:

The newbie replied with what appeared to be a sarcastic attempt at a lopsided grin:shakeno:

There you go my friend. I thank you for the info. I was wondering about him because he has declared himself to be "so ready" health and attitude-wise. He had declared that nobody on the O-line would be able to match his conditioning. Does it look that way to you Muck?

Also Thanks to CKParrothead, who had his heart in the right place as well. Thanks fellas. I don't get too much info from guys that get to eyeball practice. I envy your proximity to camp but I know the heat would do me in after living so long on Monterey Bay in Cali. Cheers, b:dolphins:
