this season is finished
this team has no stars
the few good players on this team seem to have fallen off and certainly will be gone in the next year or so like ferguson taylor porter allen etc.. and will create even more holes to fill
it seems the game has past the toonie by. he seems completely clueless on how to build a team and what is needed to win in the nfl today. he hasn't accomplished squat in 2 offseasons.
I guess we can look forward to a top 5 pick. time to start looking at the draft.

Be grateful you don't live in Colorado where you have to listen to Denver Bronco fans get all overly happy about their great team and 3-0 start.
 
Its a shame when the rookies are doing better than the veterans on defense.

How would you like to live in NY and hear about the Jets 3-0 start?
 
Last year was a mirage. Last 4 games have been against 2008 playoff teams, and 0-4 is the result. This team benefited from the easiest schedule in lightyears last season. And barely won those games.
 
has sean smith done anything this season?
I'm sure he's been burned a few times with all the big plays this crap defense gives up
I know he got punked today on a long bomb
just another overhyped pick like all the rest.
 
Personally, I think living in Florida is the worst, because at any given time I'm hearing how great the Steelers are, The Jets are, The Giants are, The Patriots are, The Colts are, etc. With Florida being a state of transplants, too many people came here with allegiances to past sports teams and I have to hear about how great their teams are absolutely constantly.

I don't blame people for supporting their home team even if they aren't my favorite team. But when they're down here and they want to brag about how great their favorite team is (as if that makes them personally any better) it really gets annoying.
 
Sean Smith has shown nothing but the fact that he can talk **** and act like he can play but cant do **** unless its against scrubs. Then we have Henne who was **** against scrubs. Put in Pat White he won't crumble under pressure like Henne and Pennington.

Yeah I hated all of those transplants. I have recently moved to the D.C. area though and can kind of understand it though as I go to bars desperately looking for a Dolphins broadcast. As long as the people are genuine hometown fans and not just bandwagon fans. Tough season so far especially the fact that my other team is FSU. Gonna be a long one. I guess we can look forward to the fact that hopefully if Henne screws up or doesn't screw up we can either add or takeoff another want in the draft for next season. I have to say though I did get a sort of sick satisfaction seeing people decked out in Redskins garb after they lost to Detroit today!

Do you even watch the games? Smith has been the only bright spot in the secondary. Of course he's given up a few passes but it sure seems to my untrained eye that teams are going after Will Allen more frequently than Smith. But of course that cant be right since you say he's just an over-hyped pick.

And yes he did give up a long pass today but he had very good coverage. It took a fantastic pass and catch to make that a completion.

1. Possible future franchise QB
2. Year 3 of 4 in rebuilding
3. Parcells teams do great in year 3
4. 2 potential pro-bowl CB's
5. potential play makers on D (Langford, Merling, Clemons, ect.)
6. #1 WR drafted next year.

I knew we would regress this year, which is why I'm not that upset. I'm a realist and I'm expecting a big year next year.
