What is up with Maurice Fountain?

This guy has been on the team for at least a week, and he appears on depth chart by the team. I know he is a longshot to make the roster, but what gives? He has no stats in either preseason game. What is up with this guy?

Well yes, but Titus Brown, Poppinga, and other people no one has heard from are on the depth chart. He is strangely absent.
