Smith's Limo-ride raises eyebrows...University of Alabama OT Andre Smith reportedly raised some eyebrows for his pro day workout in March when he arrived in a Stretch Hummer Limo...Smith's decision making has been under the microscope since the Combine in February, so his Limo-ride arrival at his pro day could make NFL teams wonder just how hungry Smith will be after he cashes his first big NFL paycheck. You have to wonder if this kid has a brain...or just a fat stomach and man boobs.

I hope he is smart with the money...

He does not seem to be ready for the NFL lifestyle. Not just b/c of the limo...

He just seems to fit the mold of a player that will never play up to his potiental. But I could be wrong on multiple levels...

Maybe he is not talented enough for the NFL...
Maybe he is becomes an elite NFL player...
Maybe he is out of the NFL in 3 years and working at Fatz bar & grill, after blowing all his money on crap.

Either way he will make more money in the next 3 years than most in a lifetime...way to blow your chance fool. He could have been a TOP 5 pick with the right agent, acting job, & CHARACTER. I wonder what it feels like to lose millions and still get millions? Somebody should ask him... lol

Definite boom or bust prospect. But honestly, this draft is FULL of boom or busters. The QB's, WR's, OL's like Smith has issues, Oher is risky because of his background, OLB's Johnson and Barwin are athletes and 1 year wonders, Matthews too and he and Cushing and Mauluga have roid qeustions looming, Cushing is injury prone, Maualuga has immaturity issues, DL like Raji testing positive for weed, CB's like Vontae Davis aren't willing workers, the list is seemingly endless this year.

Everywhere you look there's a talented prospect with fairly high bust potential. Half of this draft's legacy is going to be avoiding the bust. This is just another reason why I'm glad we have Ireland ... one of the most thorough talent evaluators in the NFL.

If he falls to 25, I would be upset if we didn't atleast consider him. By far the best guard prospect in this draft and potentially the best in sometime.

He may not be an elite LT . . . but he will be a pro bowler on somebody's OLine.

No way in hell we spend a 1st rounder on this guy... if he falls out of the first maybe. Which is not happening.

While I totally agree with you that there seems to be more than the normal amount of risky players in this draft...I for one don't agree that athletic players are a risk...especially if they have produced while in college.

I've never heard anyone say...gee he's too fast for the game...or he's built like a battleship...ex...5% bodyfat.

Experience is great...but it also depends on what kind of experience and what position the player will play.

Personally I rather have a player who has played both sides of the game...he has a far better understanding of whats going on. Many CB's are former receivers that couldn't catch...that gives the understanding of what the receiver they are playing against...may do.

Smith fires agent...Alabama OT Andre Smith fired his agent, Alvin Keels on Sunday night...Smith is expected to hire Ian Greengross, the president of Greengross Athletic Management Enterprises

It just gets better and better.

Bad descision maker. I think the risk of bust is really going to make him drop. I swear to god I do not understand guys that squander thier careers.

The guy is talented, but is far too immature. I think he's definitely worth a late 1st round pick, but it will take a little longer for him to reach his prime.

The NFL network should post a warning before showing his topless 40. I can't look away fast enough.
