ok this post is out of frustration...just fair warning

ok so i think i know what is wrong with the Dolphins.....I FIGURED IT OUT......we are in South Florida THATS IT....nothing else we just happen to be in Miami Flordia. I mean the raiders or as effin berman would say the raaaaaaaiiiideeerrrssss OH GOD SOMEONE TAKE HIM OFF THE AIR...atleast when the raiders come up....they have been irrelevant for YEARS a joke of a team but because they have skelator as an owner and DRAMA OMG DRAMA they get like segments of shows dedicated to them.

My god i have never seen a team (OUR TEAM) get less media coverage...now i am not asking for tons but yesterday our highlights werent on espn we won 38-10 and ran for 250 yards i think that deserves like 30 seconds...on nfl live our score was flashed for 3 seconds WTF...yet manning wins by 200000 over a bad team and gets 3 minutes

SORRY NFL/ESPN THAT WE DONT.......

  1. have a QB who makes retirement a joke
  2. that we arent in a huge market and have a flamboyant owner
  3. that we have played a guy up enough...so that all your "experts" can swing from his nuts ala brady and manning
  4. sorry we dont play a sexy style of offense and would rather play a physical brand of football
I mean i just saw the top 10 plays for week 4 of the NFL....uh NO DOLPHINS....but #5 was Shraper's INT for a TD if im not mistaken Vontae did that too maybe not #5 worth but maybe top ten...OH YEA I FORGOT he didnt do it on the darling of the league sanchez

and #3 was peyton's td pas to collie uh honestly collie made a good catch but again this is espn swinging from mannings nuts and givng him a top play on a throw he is prob upset he made his receiver leap for.....and Henne to Hartline i think that was a good catch nice touch pass good catch and controlled as he fell and come on it was BOTH of their first career touchdown that has got to be worth something again maybe #10 worthy...oh no we need to make sure peyton is happy with us i mean how could we ever say something bad about peyton or brady....

it is beyond me manning or Brady has a HORRIBLE game...ESPN is all oh the D had a great scheme and beat them.....our guy throwns 3 td's one pick the pick is on perfect coverage that was tipped and the safety comes over makes a miraculous catch taps his feet and its OOOOO HE SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT THAT WAS A BAD THROW

ugh its just so damn frustrating....but here comes my THANKS

Also watched the fastest 3 minutes at halftime of the monday night game and no dolphin highlights. I know its not a huge deal, but I wanted to see the Bills gettin stomped again.
 
The worst part is when they were covering the game afterwards, the host (dunno his name ) asked Tony Dungy how come the dolphins were able to run the ball so well against the bills and what did Dungy say? "Oh it was because the Bills suck and they are hurt." Helllooooooooooooooooooo #1 rushing offense WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me it isn't even about respect, I just want to see some highlights of my team. They show every craptastic games highlights a hundred times, but I did not see one dolphin highlight. Maybe I just missed them, but I saw Darren Sharper's Int return at least 6 times so I should have seen Vontae's at least once.

Dude the NFL gives us no respect....last year they had a chance to pump us up and get the league excited about young teams doign well what did they do PATS THIS AND PASTS THAT AND NO BRADY AND LOOK AT THE PATS......OH AND FARVE LOOS LIKE A KID....and it was said earlier neither does NBC...they never went oh well the dolphins ran for the 250 cause they have a great O-line that doesnt care if you put 11 in the box..they are a physical football team and just ran all over them.....NOOOOO it was that the bills game plan was off...SERIOUSLY?

there are people on ESPN who opinions i care about Hodge loves how physical we are he gives us props when we do our thing but also is critical on us when we dont that all i really expect, and Gruden is doing a good job on monday night he doesnt swing from anybody's nuts if a guy sucks that night says it he doesnt care about what they did in the past just that tonight that suck.
 
Respect is earned.

We aren't a dominating team, we don't have a superstar player yet (though Ronnie could become one), we aren't a dysfunctional team/organization, we aren't so bad it's funny, and we have no locker room cancer.

To the national media, we are still just a team that only wins cause of the Wildcat. Until we win consistently, we are gonna continue to get no coverage.

Who cares about the NFL and who they respect or don't? It has no effect on how the team plays. If you want to see the Dolphins highlights...Complete games even, there is NFL rewind that is very low cost. Sure, it would be nice if Dolphins highlights were given equal time, but, the NFL has nothing to say about that really.

The Patriots get lots of coverage because they have been the most successful team in the last decade or so, and, they are immensely popular. That's just the way it is. ESPN, and other sports clearinghouses are businesses. They make money by giving the people what they want.

MNF got a 15 share last night. Why do you think that was? Do you think it got a 15 because people don't care about Farve?

I reccommend NFL Rewind. You can see the complete game for a very small price.
 
There are other teams you hear very little about as well. I rarely hear them talk about Seattle. They've been all but silent on the Texans this year too.
 
Btw, I finally listened to Goon and got Rewind. It's pretty sweet. But now I'll NEVER get anything done.

I figure solving your own issues is better than being mad about it, or complaining about ESPN. No respect, blah blah, everyone hates us, blah blah....:crazy:

Like the NFL has a stake in Miami failing. :lol:

Spend a small amount of scratch, and, you can see the whole game for yourself. It's a no brainer. Then you don't need pundits, ESPN, or anyone else to make your opinion for you.
 
Just like someone here said, the media feeds off of drama. Look at what they are doing to T.O. He's trying to play football for once, and the media spends more time trying to get him to say something negative as opposed to asking him about football related things. How much time did they spend talking about Jessica Simpson being Tony Romo's girlfriend? I can't tell you how nauseating the whole Brett Favre fiasco made me. The media kisses Favre's you know what..It's ridiculous. There's really no drama surrounding the Fins organization, so why would ESPN bother with us regardless if we win or lose.
