I watched NFL Network and Monday Night Countdown on ESPN to catch up on NFL highlights and on both networks, they were asking who would win the AFC East, and out of all the analysists, only Jim Mora picked the Fins to win the AFC East.

First off, only the Jets and Dolphins control their own destiny.

But more importantly, the Fins are playing the most sound fotball.

Any football expert and they will tell you, the key to winning any football game is..

Win the turnover battle and dont allow your opponents to score Touchdowns.

Okay well, the Fins have an NFL record 10 turnovers all year.

They haven't given up an offensive TD in 3 games.
The Dolphins have given up the 4th fewest points this year, behind the scary defenses of the Steelers, Titans and the Ravens.

What else does this team need to do to earn some respect?!

And I dont wana hear that crap about the fact that the Fins aren't blowing out teams...
The Jets lost to the Raiders, 49ers, got blown out by the Chargers and Broncos. Shouldve lost to the Chiefs and the Bills.

The Patriots gave up 26 points to the anemic Raiders who average 14 points a game. 26 points is the second highest output for the Raiders. The Patriots offense have a very efficient offense, but their defense is terrible.

I am in no way trying to be a ****y, arrogant fan, because after last year, I am humbled. I feel the Jets and Patriots are good, quality teams, but as of right now, we should be talked about with a little respect.

Agree whole-heartedly, but don't worry, the respect will come after week 17. For now, hopefully the lack of it allows our boys to play with a chip on their shoulders.

I'm not surprised, coming into this season we weren't expected to have a winning record, let alone be a legit playoff contender. I think most of them are just playing it safe for that reason. Most of them probably don't believe that we're able to win against "the good teams", and they may believe that the Jets are one of those teams....

Honestly, I could care less about those guys / their opinions. They know nothing more than we do as far as I'm concerned.....

IN TUNA WE TRUST....

I saw Merinelli (sp?) yesterday and he said he saw the 49ers game and we did not run the wildcat at all. Maybe he was getting a beer at the time?

i believe it should be so-called "analysts"

as it is this thread title is confusing

anyway, the analysts are there to get ratings and more advertising dollars, so i appreciate them for what they are, which is just another voice to talk about sports.

When will some people just stop watching these clowns speak. I think the majority of you is looking for national attention and recognition. Isn't it enough for our team to win in your minds?

Strange how people focus on when people dont pick the Fins to win the division.

Was listening to Jim Mora on NFL Network yesterday and he actually picks the Fins to win out and the Pats to take a wildcard.

In the end its just opinion, they dont know any better than you or me.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it is not unreasonable that people feel the Jets or Patriots will win the division. Yes it would be nice if people showed mroe faith in us but what can you do?

i wouldnt be surprised if most of these "analysts" think the wildcat is our featured set. most of these guys get paid to do nothing.

There's no guarantee the Dolphins make the playoffs so I don't understand the questioning of the analysts. Some will be right, some will be wrong.

Do we need a thread about this every week?
