53...fan since the '72 Super Bowl. We were just outside of Detroit. Dad was a big football fan, Steelers fan, and he hated the Cowboys. He rooted hard for the Dolphins. I picked it up and ran with it for the next 49 years and counting. Never been to a game in Miami though I've seen them play in Denver.
I ask this to see who I am talking with.
A lot of people on here know so much about this team. It leaves me to believe we have an abundance of middle age people like myself.
I'm 48 going on 37 years as a Dolphin fan.
I turned 57 earlier this year. Was born in Palm Beach Gardens, grew up mostly overseas and was living in Rio de Janeiro in 1971 - 1974 when I first saw footage of Miami Dolphins and became a fan. Lived in Miami in 1975 for 1 year before going back overseas, but have only been a Dolphins fan for as long as I remember football. Been up here in Northern VA since 1990.
56 years young although since Dan Marino retired, I feel that may have aged me hoping and dreaming for a SB. My family has been season ticket holders since 1970. Still remember Bob Griese breaking his leg.
