lol

Hope we pull it off, and Henne can go nuts through the air, cause I'm not seeing much of a running game with our OLine vs the Pat's big uglys up front.

No excuses but our running game has been hands offs straight up the middle. No sweeps. No off tackle plays . No wildcat or trickery at all.

You JUST know they been game planning for New Engand for 2 months now.

At home on Monday night. All eyes on us.

Got to love it and think we got a real chance to win.

We for sure have a chance. Must admit I'm not expecting a win as much as I want too, but I'm getting that feeling that I won't be surprised if we win. Ecstatic yes, but not surprised. I like that it's on Monday night too.

ha ha...dudes talkin about the wildcat like its a hidden gem or something...and to run all these running plays on the outside you need move linemen who can get out there...jake long and mike pouncey...sure...incog carey and colombo...nope

Widcat ? I don't care if they run the wishbone if it works and we beat them.

good luck with that...

i for one am very worried about this oline...getting jake back will cure a lot of things but there's only so much you can hide weaknesses...careys struggling big time with quickness off the ball and moving laterally...colombos a statue with no legs...incogs in cement when asked to move laterally...you can't hide these guys once the real bullets fly...teams will exploit this stuff we are putting out there on tape

All valid concerns. Our history with the Pats is that we usually split the two games until last year.

I think it reverts back to the norm and we win at home this year.

Think rational before a new season ? I think not.

remember " We're in the air we're on the ground yadda yadda yadda superbowl."

if the pats can stop our running game on first down and get us into 2nd and 3rd and longs i've seen this movie before...i think we're gonna have to come out and spread them out and throw the ball on first down and then run out of some spread out looks...cause this oline is not just gonna line up and move people off the ball without schematics help...not unless the d line is a pretty bad one

Four wide outs with Reggie in motion should do the trick.

Tight ends? Who needs them.

I have been talking up the Lions and some of you have said they are garbage. WRONG!! This is not your father's Lions team. I am watching the rewind now and they are showing exactly how to beat Brady. He is weak at throwing on the run and that's what they are doing to him with a lot of pressure. All the hype they get about drafting and building a defense is BS!! Stafford is carving them up with nice play calling from Scott Linehan.

Bottom line is that the Pats are beatable on opening night. The game rides on Henne's shoulders, cut and dry. A key point for me is Daboll has got to start him with high percentage passes. I was not overly impressed with the play calling against the Bucs and they can't afford to be conservative at any point during that game. Sparano says he understands the need to be aggressive on offense but you know what they say about a leopard changing their spots.
