Ricky was originally drafted by the Expos, but subsequently had his rights traded to the Rangers. The Expos picked him mostly because they could get some cash out of sending his rights away.

Sorry, but Ricky was originally drafted by the PHILLIES. He was then taken by the Expos in the rule 5 draft. I have a newspaper clipping of him in the Phillies minor league system without the dreads.
