I like Pennington, he is a great leader and the ultimate teammate. He is extremely intelligent and professional but he isn't the future. Henne will have his chance to prove his worth, no excuses about being rushed in because he has had all of last season to prepare himself for this exact scenario. Time to shine young man and I rooting for him, but if he doesn't what better time to be drafting a QB in this years crop of talent. McCoy, Tebow, Bradford would all look good in aqua.

As of right now, everything is going as planned by our God-King Sean Smith with the only tiny exception that we ARE FRIKKEN 0-3. Everything else is falling into place.

I'd hesitate to draft either of those 3, especially where they are projecting them. We have our young QB in place. If it turns out he needs more time to develop, then we go for seasoned veteran in FA. I could envision a scenario similar to when we got Trent Green just, hopefully, a healthier version. If everything we are hearing about Henne is true, I think we are in good shape.

I only see Bradford (if he's healthy) as an NFL quarterback. Tebow, won't make it in this league as a quarterback (at least not a good quarterback) and I haven't seen that much of McCoy. What I did see, I think he has a lot of work to do (foot work, and accuracy issues). JMO.

Tebow would look HORRIBLE in aqua.

ah, the Tebow haters. Come out every time his name is mentioned. We get our players from college football. Why would you not want the best college football player ever?:err:

Just because he'll probably be one of the best college football players ever does not mean that success will translate to the NFL. Archie Griffin won two Heisman Trophies at Ohio State. Where is his bust in Canton? Oh, that's right.... there isn't one because he was a bust in the NFL. In terms of intangibles: leadership, heart, etc. Tebow is worth a first round pick. However, when you factor is how bad his footwork is, how sloppy is mechanics are, how inaccurate he is, etc. You realize that Timmy does not have what it takes to be in NFL QB. If Tim thinks he can make in the NFL at QB, he's in for a rude awakening.

Because alot of GREAT college quarterbacks, SUCK in the NFL. Name the last GREAT college quarterback that was GREAT in the NFL?

They said he wouldn't make it in college either. Look how that turned out. He will be just fine as long as he goes to a team that can build around his style and likes to run the ball a lot, like.......hmmmm..................THE MIAMI DOLPHINS!

I know his passing skills are not that great right now, but I've seen him make some AWESOME passes down the field. Give him some time and he'll be even better.

But I understand............haters wanna hate. He probably beat up on your favorite college team.

So you're saying we should go after the crappy college quarterbacks?:err:

He's never beat up on USC. Nor would he be able too, but that's another arguement for another day.

His passing skills aren't great right now? They have been sh*tty for the past four years. Exactly what will change when Timmy gets to the NFL? Only a team with an idiot for an owner/front office would draft Tebow and make him the face of the franchise (see: Weaver, Wayne). Besides Miami not only has one but two Wildcat QB's in White and Thigpen. Adding Tebow just creates a clusterf*ck and it's simply pointless to draft a guy that has such poor fundamentals for a four year starter at a major program.

This isn't about hate, this is about truth and reality. Tebow cannot and will not cut it in the NFL. I mean, his release takes longer than Byron Leftwich! BYRON LEFTWICH. Monte Kiffin's defense ate Tebow alive as a passer and that defensive scheme has won Super Bowls in the NFL. Put the case of Pabst Blue Ribbon away, take off your Gator homer goggles, and stop smacking your wife around for just one brief second and you would realize that while Tim is a fantastic college player, unless he changes positions in the NFL he will be without a doubt a FAILURE.

Thats great! Tell that to Washington State (or whoever the crap that crappy team was that beat USC)!

Of course Miami shouldn't go after crappy college quarterbacks. Miami should go after good college quarterbacks that have skills that are transferrable to the NFL and that have shown at least some ability to play at the next level.

That being said, Miami shouldn't have to draft another QB this year or in the coming years.
