no we didnt trade with the vikes and it doesnt really look like it will happen. Id love campbell or Mcpherson in miami. Look at what Mcnabb can do with a well rounded, strong defensive team. I really feel mobility is a factor that alot of people dont give enough credit to. Sure its alot different running in the NFL and Vick did raise the bar alot, but both of these guys campbell and mcpherson have alot of promise and both could take miami back in the direction of a feared offense.(lets just hope it happens before our defensive files for social security)
Im personally all for waiting for campbell or mcpherson now that we have a 2nd round pick. But I was more leaning towards doing that if we traded down with Minnesota. I still agree with Saban's comments about making sure you take the best value for getting a number 2 overall pick. Ronnie Brown is not anything near the best value. Brown would be Miami picking for need not value. This draft is just too deep for miami to take brown at 2. I have faith in saban he seems to be intelligent.
