I've been a Dolphins fan forever, only 1 time to the Superbowl, and lost to S.F.
We had great coaches with Shula and then Jimmy Johnson, but lately, our choices of coaches has been very bad, with few exceptions. The last one, i think the vast majority of fans disagree on the coach been brought back, especially after he decided to keep the defensive coordinator. So much talent out there, and we continue to be dominated, especially when it counts in games, again, with few exceptions. How many times we've seen guys before coming here been great, or after they leave becoming productive. Is it the coaching staff? I think it is.
Now, as fans, why do we have to continue to support below average football? Should fans continue to go to the games? Should we continue to buy packages to watch games on tv/internet? What can we do for the owner to start HEARING OUR DISAPPROVE on the coaching staff? Good players let go because the coach does not like their attitude? We let go a corner that is playing like an star in Indianapolis and we have one that is grading very low? We continue playing guys like Dallas Thomas? Why? If our team is one to play 3-4 instead of 4-3 why not make the changes? Should coaching adapt to personnel or is the other way around?

I am so tired of watching this team play so average, and start games as if we were not prepared to play the team in front of us.
I would love to say, i am not watching more games until there is a change of coaches, but, like the majority of the forum members, we are going to be there on Sunday, again.

Can we do something to see some changes???

There's realistically nothing we can do as fans. Unless you can organize a mass boycott of the Dolphins' games and make it clear it's that and a protest against the shoddy product Ross is putting on the field, and even then it's a 50/50 shot it makes any impact.

I think we just have to survive through the Ross Era and try not to become too overly invested in the team, because it just sets us up to be perennially let down.

My advice? Draft a FFB team and pull for it. Then if your team is terrible its just (1) season and you did it to yourself. It feels like Miami has been bad and NE on top for a eternity now. No change in that on the horizon so why fight a battle you have no say so in?

From the movie "Frozen" ...."Let it go"

Grin and bear it....they are going in dry...

Buy a lotto ticket or 10 and if you win, get a couple of rich partners and make Ross an offer.

While I think Ross & his FO cohorts are all for winning, as long as the money keeps rolling in from ticket sales, merchandise, stadium vendors, etc. they'll sit in their ivory towers not really caring about the fans opinions or complaints. The ONLY thing that will push him to make changes that the fans can affect is erasing his profit margin and stopping the money coming in....then you'd see him act.

The only thing you can do is not show up to the games or buy merchandise. I have refused to buy anything until they have a decent product. I will always be a Dolphin fan but that doesn't mean I have to give a billionaire my money for a crappy product. Just to think I almost bought a jersey at the start of the year.

Sit there and take it. Just like we do every season. Tell ourselves that the Dolphins love us, that hey truly don't mean to do what they do to us, that they will change. They told us so.

cheers the team on, hope for the best, watch for improvements for the betterment of our future!!! deal with the ups and downs as a true fan!!!

or we can be like the loud 45 year old douchebag i witnessed Sunday who was louder than anyone i ever seen, thinking he was the coolest hottest ****, prob going through mid life crisis... but I guess he was a Giants fan, but was screaming and swearing constantly across the bar, with the loudest weirdest laugh, screaming at the Giants and how they suck and will lose this game, and how Eli is a piece of ****, etc.... constantly, every second. Started screaming how he burned his jersey last night and isnt a Giants fan anymore, sick of them losing and playing pathetically and its all Eli fault, even when Atlanta was coming back throwing to Julio (who nobody has been able to stop and Eli doesnt even play defense) but he still swore Eli our and blamed him completely (disreguarding the 2 Superbowl rings he helped the Giants get throughout his career). etc...... the whole second half as everyone else around just shook their head at his embarrassing display of a human.

or be a Jets fan

your choices!!!
