Just looking at the official fins team site and the stats section. What era are we in when:

1. You’re leading WR may not crack 600 yards.

2. You’ve run 149 fewer plays (10 per game) than the opposition.

3. We have almost 100 fewer 1st downs than the opposition.

4. Opponents have more than 1400 yards of offense more than us.

5. You’ve only scored 36 TDs.

Are we a bad 70’s team? How is this even possible?

I used to look at team stats all the time - now that we are inundated w them constantly I guess I don’t feel the need to look as offen. I’m incredulous at what I’m seeing - it doesn’t make sense to me. How did we win 7 games?

Hey Gase is an offensive guru. The fact they left out was he is only a guru in the Bizarro World.

It really looks like that. If you showed me these team stats first thing after waking from a 1 year coma, I would have said, “wow this team sucks. They couldn’t have won more than 2 games”.

Watching this team play its obvious that they do not have any " go to" offensive sets that can get them out of jams... Matter of fact, I don't think they even have a qb sneak in the playbook because on 3rd and 1 they will run screen plays or something even more unlikely to succeed.
Nothing is easy for them... And defense? They just look unprepared and clueless about how to stop anyone. Those stats pan out but like you all I have no idea how they have 7 wins.

I still can’t believe the corpse of Amendola is gonna lead us in receiving w about 600 yards. How sad.

Doesn’t help that Wilson and Grant we’re injured earlier in the year. They don’t really even have a true TE threat.

Totally agree. With the QB healthy and Grant and Wilson in the lineup the offense looked a lot different. I think we were cursed starting with losing Sitton.

...I think we were cursed once Tannenbaum was hired. You never hire a guy whose never won before - (with your arch enemy to scythe least) - never. The curse then continued with Tannehill and Gase.

True, true but still < 600 yards? And TE - Gesicki looks like a tweener between TE and WR. Not sure about him.

the other teams missing easy FG's and QB's missing wide open WR's.....we should really be like 5-9 at best but got lucky several times.

TH is still average at best. The stats would’ve been better and maybe they even win another game. We’ll never know.
