What the heck is going on?!?!

Do I like the switch no, BUT I understand it. With Burnett and Dansby on the outside I see Misi at MLB with our current roster. Save money from letting Solai go and if possible go after Mario Williams. Will definately need to find another DE that can rush the passer.
 
The D is slightly overrated. I mean it's good, but you would think we had an elite defense by the way people talk. There's several holes in our defense. A 4-3 allows the players to thrive in a different system that many of them are more comfortable in and free up cap space by getting rid of Solai who wants too much for the little things he does.
 
Whether you run a 3-4 or 4-3 we need a CB and FS, the only diff is that you dont need the other OLB opposite of Wake. I already know Wake would be a beast DE like Arvil, Freeney etc... Misi who knows how he would be at DE, and our DT position should be fine with Odrick, Starks and Mcdaniels. I think finding a good MLB will be harder than we think unless we draft D. Hightower from Bama. That still leaves us needing 1 LB, CB and FS.....so what is the point of switching..you spent all this time, money and draft picks looking for 3-4 personnel and now your going to have to do the same to get 4-3 players. Some of these guys wont make a smooth transition...oh well another rebuild process for us...smfh. just leave the D as is for crying out loud!!!

I do, he is instictive, able to take on blockers, and tough against the run. In the Sam position he would probably be even more active, and show more ability, and his stats would show it.

That defense was not good in the 4th quarter so something needs to change because that is VERY important!!!

Yes and add in the Cowboy game and that makes 4 blown 4th quarter leads.

They may have been in the top 10 but didn't force enough turnovers and blew too many 4th quarter leads.

Not only Solai might be leaving but Langford maybe leaving as well....lets face it, he's been a good player but not great....we need to change things up cause what we've been doing has not worked in a long time.
