IM just wondering why he is having so much trouble catching balls, hes a WR thats what they are suppose to do, hes one of the fastest in the league so why not develop some plays to help utilize his speed. i just dont get it those 4 dropped passes were unacceptable what do you guys think?

He wasn't really a normal wr in college.
He wasn't a good route runner, he made all of those tdz & big plays based on his speed.
He just hasn't been able to take his game to a higher level at the pros. He doesn't have good body control. It looks like he is almost always in the wrong position to catch the ball unless it's coming in over his head.

It appears to me his problem right now is he does not want to get hit. Watch him return a kick and see how fast he heads for the sidelines. I don't have a problem with a little guy avoiding contact, but not to the point where he is useless. Ted Ginn needs to decide whether playing football is worth the pounding.
i think its funny that he doesnt have a problem catching kicks where the ball is turning end over end and higher in the air than any throw and theres 11 guys running towards him. but when it comes to a perfect thrown ball with a tight spiral and one or two defenders within 5 yards of him he cant catch.

Somebody commented somewhere that the problem with one of the Dolphins receivers is that he has VaGinnitis.
scratch out that over the head catch he can't even do that consistantly.
