Free agency -
LB (A stud, not some old discounted player in the twilight of his career)
Trade Landry for a proven starting CB and let Tankersley play the nickel
Sign Kirk Cousins

Cut Tannehill, Don't resign Cutler

Cut tannehill don't re-sign cutler and draft o line?? Who will be under center in this scenario?

Edit* just saw the Kirk cousins at the end. This is a bad idea in my opinion, tannehill was trending upward.

Honestly, I could see myself going4 your draft for with the exception of a decent QB prospect that would serve as development fodder. I do like Cousins BTW

So we cut Tannehill for Cousins and all of his winning and playoff success??? Seems like a more expensive lateral move. Oh wait he must have a higher fantasy or madden rating right?

They need to seriously consider a QB in the middle rounds. I understand Tannehill is the guy, but they can't afford a season going down the pipes again because he gets hurt. The Patriots seem to have a tendency of having their QB's be young guys who may or may not pan out instead of the old is what it is vet strategy. They won 11 games in 2008 when Brady missed the entire season and went 3-1 last year without him.

Cousins is not better than Tannehill though. I live in VA and watch all the skins games. He throws a couple pretty passes here and there with a nice couple games but will also lose you a game all by himself.

They are comparable/in same tier more than anything. Still take RT over him.

i agree all OL and a mid rd qb, but a healthy Tannehill sounds better

Agree on mid round qb as if they had to sign Fales ..what's with Dougherty on th PS ? Fins shoukd have been drafting a qb every year..plus I can't see them continuing with MM next year

I don't DISlike Tannehill. In fact I've been in many arguements defending him. But how often does a quarterback come back from a significant knee injury to play like their old self ?? Plus playing up to the level he was at wasn't quite good enough as it is. He's going to have to play better for them to take the next step. I do not see that happening and it's not worth 18 million to find out. Get out from under the contract while you can and move on. His injury was unfortunate yes, and he was indeed starting to hit his stride, but he also had plenty of time to prove that he is a pro bowl QB, and he is not.

Is Cousins a superstar ? Probably not but he at least has the potential to be really good in this league, and he should be available which is the most important aspect of it. Give him a good line, (see draft needs, and obviously I was exaggerating) and the weapons we currently have (even though Gase doesn't appear to know how to use them) and he could be one of the top 5-8 QBs in the league.

So no, I don't play madden I'm a grown ass man and I dominate fantasy football leagues by not drafting Dolphin offensive players if you must know.
