Some questions but the majoity positive.

Text from member of Miami's staff on Lazor: "Good coach. Smart family man who works well w/ others. Been with great mentors. We're excited."

Two thoughts on Bill Lazor. 1. He's a QB whisper (look at Nick Foles' growth) 2. He's coming from NFL's most creative offense. Love the hire

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 58m
While there are concerns about Bill Lazor's level of OC experience (less than Shanahan) he's got far more than Ben McAdoo.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 48m
Eagles had nearly a 50-50 run-pass split in 2013. Their offense ranked second in yards (417.3) and fourth in points (27.6).

James Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 21m
Dolphins OC Bill Lazor did wonders last yr w/#Eagles QB Nick Foles. And Ryan Tannehill has more natural ability than Foles, IMO.

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 22m
Bill Lazor has experience w/ West Coast O Joe Philbin wants to run. But also knows Gibbs-Coryell vertical attack. Hope he uses some of both.

James Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 33m
Dolphins were looking for a coach of the West Coast offense who also had success working with QBs. Bill Lazor fits both profiles.

Jeff Darlington ‏@JeffDarlington 9m
If indeed Lazor chose Miami over Detroit, it at least quells overblown narrative nobody wants to work for Dolphins. It's. Not. That. Bad.

James Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 17m
One of the biggest responsibilities of new #Dolphins OC Bill Lazor is making young QB Ryan Tannehill a finished product.

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 26m
Dolphins have not officially confirmed Lazor hire yet, but are not denying it either. Sounds like a go.

Andy Cohen ‏@ACohenFins 26m
The hiring of Bill Lazor as OC is good news for Tannehill. Former QB who knows the position. Seems like the perfect fit.

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 35m
Mike Sherman last yr said Ryan Tannehill would be NFL's most improved 2nd-yr QB. Dolphins now hire man who coached NFL's most improved QB.

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 42m
Confirmed ESPN report that Bill Lazor is new Dolphins OC.

Dave Hyde ‏@davehydesports 43m
Lazor is well thought of in league. Scout I just talked with said, "Good mind - innovative. Very well liked in coaching circles."

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 46m
Lazor is an Ivy Leaguer. Went to Cornell. And like me, he's a Pennsylvania boy.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 52m
Dolphins reportedly hire Bill Lazor as offensive coordinator http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ffensive-coordinator-20140115,0,1826534.story

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 54m
Lazor has called plays before -- just not in the NFL. He was UVA's offensive coordinator from 2010-2012.

Dave Hyde ‏@davehydesports 54m
The Bill Lazor Question was the Joe Philbin Question: How much did he develop Nick Foles (A. Rodgers) ,how much did Chip Kelly (McCarthy)?

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 56m
I began this year not a fan of Nick Foles, and skeptical the Eagles offense would work. I was wrong on both, which is why Lazor intrigued me

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 1h
[Philbin seemed nervous about "Lasers" when I first wore a pair of Google Glass to Dolphins press conference http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/s...dolphins-coach-player-freak-out-over-g/nb22p/

We score anywhere near that and this team is winning 11 games regardless of what the defense does.
