I was watching Around the Horn, and PTI, and the headline was Patriots. It is all about how the Patriots lost, not about how the Dolphins won a great game by playing great.

Its not about us out coaching the Patriots, its about the Patriots being outcoaches.

It is not about Ronnie's 5 TD's, its about how the Patriots couldn't play defense.

I bet that if the Pats would've won, the headline would've been about how good Cassel is, and how good the Patriots team is, how they can win with any QB.

Well, thats it for my rant.

Im used to it though

dont worry bro.... we made a statement to the whole NFL yesterday. end of.

Miami took that Patriot head and put it on a big spike for all to gawp at!

It was even on the local news here in the UK how the Fins Trampled the Pats..... and American football doesnt make the news over here usually, unless a player gets shot or we have a Wembley game lol

;-)

F*** them. we beat them end of story. It doesnt matter if they didnt have tom brady, because even if they did the score would be something like 38-21. That game was just ownage by the miami dolphins.

LoL! It's not about the glass being half full, but about being half empty! LMAO!

ya i realized the same thing, instead of starting the show off by saying how great miami played, it starts off by talking about how poorly the pats played. without tom brady, we arent much worse then them, or maybe we are alot better. i dont think its a huge upset, i think miami finally played up to its potential and showed the league that this is what they are capable of. if it had been the chiefs or lions doing what we did to the pats then yes, id say it was a huge upset because those teams flat out stink. but our miami dolphins are a lot better then people give them credit for, and i hope that everyone just keeps downplaying us and we show everybody.

When we keep winning, we'll get our headlines. Come November, when the Cheatriots come to town and we sweep them, I definitely want to hear their bandwagon make excuses!

You should have seen that coming- i did as soon as I watched a flabbergasted Adam Schefter speechless while wondering outloud, how in the world this could happen :err:
the way he reacted you would have thought that this was a bigger miraicle than it would be to find the cure for cancer

Things will change if we can beat S.D. in two weeks.

Honestly, that annoyed the crap 'outta me also. But, then when I stopped to think about it ... I think that they took that opinion because - to the rest of the NFL - the bigger story was not that the Dolphins won, but that the Patriots lost. When we return to our glory, then the story will be THE DOMINANCE OF THE MIAMI DOLPHINS!
:beer1:

ESPN prejudice is WAY overblown.....go to ESPN.com NFL page now....3 prominant links to the Dolphins win:

we haven't gotten good press because we haven't won....when we win like we did Sunday, we get noticed....it's just that left over stale taste from all the losing lately, and the resulting lack of respect from the media (not just ESPN) that makes people still view our recognition as lacking.

Around the horn is the stupidest sports show ever created.
well..... cold pizza is pretty stupid also. anyway.... who cares what they think?

I feel ya. It's just the way they are. That network always favors teams in the northeast, and the only team outside of that is the cowboys. Tony Reali however did make the panel give porter and the team credit, and they reluctantly mumbled it. The network is a joke, and i try not to watch it that much.

Yeah both are pretty bad. I never thought cold pizza would still be on to this day.

i'm with you there. it's like they got the most annoying and least credible sports writers on one show to see who knows less.

in fact - that's exactly what it should be called. tune in next time for the next episode of 'who knows less' - with your host guido reali.
