What will the Dolphins do with Ricky if he is reinstated in September?

I think they should deal him to Pittsburgh for Alan Faneca, who has mentioned this is his last year playing for the Steelers, why keep him if he wants out?

Another trade possiblitiy is The Bears for Lance Briggs who is also doing a one and done in Chicago.

How about to the Patriots for Assante Samuel, he appears heading for a long hold out for more money, what do you guys think?

who's ricky??? i hope that answers ur question....

and i just cant help it this thread is one of the all time worst ever...what made u think that the pats would trade samuel for ricky....are u kidding??? cmon dude

Those are all pro-bowlers. Ricky is one more failed test away from a lifetime banishment and hasn't played a full NFL season since 2003.

The longer he holds out, the better a trade looks, why sign a guy for one year when he clearly doesn't have his heart in it and could become a cancer on the team?

Miami is likely to cut him if he does get reinstated. He is a remarkable talent but he decided to waste it and smoke marjuana while doing yoga.

I hope you're kidding or you're been hanging with Ricky too much. :goof:

Now that the Dolphins have extra money under the cap from releasing Culpepper, they can afford some of these guys I mentioned and the Steelers and Patriots could use a every down back.

Maybe the Bills will take him for Evans...hey why were at it get tom brady...mike vick needs a new home??

Well somehow Im not thinking Ricky will come back in the league even if he is reinstated, which is not certain by any stretch either. If he is reinstated and wants to play..................I say what the hell.

Suit him up. Its not like we will put him in a position where we HAVE to count on him. Keep him as our 3rd back. If he sticks I will guarentee he will be more productive as the 3rd back than Chatman or Cobbs. If he gets himself thrown out then we can easily replace a #3 RB on the depth chart midseason. But, if the guy sticks there is no doubting his skills and what he can bring.

Just as long as the phins never put themselves in a position where they have to trust him or count on him as the guy. I really dont see the harm of keeping him on as long as we arent depending on him.

If the guy were a cancer or cried about money I would just unload him. But, by all accounts Ive seen he is a good teammate and no one seems to mind him in the locker room or suggest he dosent bring it when the whistle blows. He just has a problem with pot.

But, Im kinda not sure he is even going to get reinstated without failing another test and even if he does who knows if he would really want to play.

We'd never get anything for Ricky...I'd like to see him play here...make the minimum...and be the best back up RB in the league....when he plays he plays hard... That said I don't think it will ever happen....
