If he is as huge of a mistake as you believe, why would anyone take on that contract, particularly in this reduced cap year?
I agree he underperformed, but unless you want to eat part of the contract, which creates another need, is that really a viable option for this year?
My opinion, best to pull a stand Pat Riley. If he sucks, it will be much easier to move on next year.
