What transactions are left with 2nd Camp...

opening tomorrow? Only a te and a wr have been signed from all the tryout guys, and isn't it interesting that the Dolphins have looked at other avenues to pursue linebackers after having all the guys in last weekend. What moves do the Dolphins need to make other that the much noted ones (Harrington; linebacker search)? Remember that the roster is almost at maximum capacity, and any future moves will likely lead to a player getting cut.

I think we need to sign another big O-Lineman, to help protect our franchise QB and RB!!!
 
Yeah I agree with OLB..Oline is set IMO. Remember these guys allowed the fewest amount of sacks last year....Pass protection is squared away. Run Blocking might need to be twirked a bit....But I think the addition of LJ and the other guys makes most improved on an already improved Oline.
 
Unless we can sign a great linebacker or DB, I don't see any need in signing anyone at this point. We really can not improve too much at too many positions considering what we have, what is available, and what we have to spend. I would be comfortable going into training camp tomorrow with what we have right now.

With that said, linebacker is probably our biggest need right now but I don't know of anyone available that is better than anyone who would start for us right now. Maybe after June 1 that will change. Maybe we could take a flyer on Marcus Vick or some other project but I see no need to cut anyone we have to do it.
 
All of us would like a big, first class Olineman. The problem is I don't see even any second tier guys out there right now. There are a few OLB's that might help, Newman the UFA from the Vikes, maybe Watson from NO.

Any additional signees now will be likely projects either as guys trying for a come-back or almost rans trying one more team.

Why would we take a flyer on Marcus Vick? He can't run proper routes and he's not even close to being a QB. So what do you or anyone else suggest he'll add to our team of ACTUAL pro football players?

Why is no one looking at Chris Claiborne, Peter Boulware, Chad Brown, Jaimie Sharper? These guys are all FAs. Are they that beatin up? Claiborne is only 27 yrs old.

I think maybe one big round diamond flanked by two somewhat smaller round ones with one stone being perfect. The big stone could represent our new era and as we add to it we can surround it with new diamonds, always having one flawless one.
 
adding another lb would help and it enver can hurt by adding a ol. Can't have to many of them
