What was worse: Ricky's Retirement or TO's Holdout and Pouty Retreat?

Its a tough call for me, both were/are very detrimental to their teams, but what TO is doing just seems more mean-spirited imo.. It also might be a bigger distraction because he will still be around and continually battle in the media all year.. (Although Ricky did a bit too.. but it wasnt too often.. and it was mostly about himself, not teamates)

Anyway, I give the slight edge to TO situation being worse.

Right now it is being reported that T.O. is going back to his home in Atlanta. It looks like Reid is going to suspend him for the season which means he will not get paid this year and if the Eagles want, they don't have to pay him the 9 MILL he was going to get next year. Also, the Eagles would get back 2 and a half MILL in return for this year.

I also hear this entire tiff was because TO didnt want to do autograph sessions for the fans or something.

Even without T.O. the Eagles still have McNabb and Westbrook. When Williams retired, he took the core of the Dolphins offense with him. Thus, Williams retiring was far more detrimental to the Dolphins than what T.O. is doing to the Eagles right now.

No I actually think they sent him home for the week. Then if he doesn't report back he gets fined 6,000 a week during the preseason and like 200,000 to 400,000 a week during the regular season. I could be wrong with those numbers though.

610WIP Sports Radio in Philadelphia reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens will not be traded despite him walking away from the team during camp Wednesday, Aug. 10. Owens also will not be fined by the team for leaving early Wednesday, but the team will start fining him $6,000 per day starting Thursday, Aug. 11, should his absence continue. Owens would lose approximately $200,000 per game, should he not be on good terms with the team during the regular season.
