We are all throwing stuff against the wall and speculating on problems. During the Wanny era we were really searching for the problems. Now that was a cluster....
IMHO we know what the problems are and can/need to fix them pronto. DB, RG, OLB and bad QB play. There are guys on the field that have proven they can play and do not have "other" (injury) questions other than C-Pepp. There are just a few critical pieces that have not performed. There are some options. Berger played well in the PS and offers at least hope at RG. The OL functions more as a unit than other area. Vs. Pittsburgh McMike chipped and others helped Anderson constantly hurting their own performance. Anderson hurt the entire OL and today he was injured and showed nothing prior to that. I think Nick may have seen enough. Jacox may be functional but is not in game shape yet...maybe he will be soon. Berger needs to get healthy...quickly. AT OLB Spragen is average at best, Pope has played fairly well when given the opportunity....he just does not fit the mold of a "Saban LB". At DB Daniels should return soon and Allen should come on as he was 10 days behind right off the bat. Also Bell has played fairly well and can replace Tillman/Hill. QB...at least Harrington is an option if C-Pepp does not turn it up. Does not mean that the problems will be fixed or that these moves will be made, but at least now the option is not named AJ Feeley, Jay Fiedler or Lamar Gordon.
