I am personally hoping that wanny is fired midway through the season and he takes wise and armstrong with him and trestman or sullivan are interm head coach for the rest of the year. I like what Rick has done with what he was thrown into, but he was panicking (as would anyone in that position).
Dolphins need to pull in the best FA o-linemen as possible, trade surtain for either great o-linemen and picks or just picks(we are going to be forced to get rid of him, contract year is next year and we cant extend his with madison). Then we should take Leinart/Orton or another good qb. Take a good DT because bowens is getting old. We have an amazing WR corps for next year and will have a good rb when we sign edge (since he wants to come to miami). Keep feely for one more year to hold the position down (He will be better then fiedler with an o-line, but i decided that i dont want him for the long run). Get fiedler out of here.. Then for a coach just get Weis or Crommel, personally i would want weis right now. We would be instant contenders next season.

You guys agree?
 
I wouldnt get rid of surtain....maybe madison, but not surtain. Im thinking Will Poole will be as good as Pat in a year or so anyway...anyone notice that everyone is picking on Sam but hardly anyone messes w/ the rookie? Whats up w/ that?

I kind of agree w/ the call to terminate Wanny now...this ship is going under and he cant save it...lets get some fresh blood and make it clear, early...that we are looking for the next up and coming head coach.

Not sure about the 0-line yet.....I know they suck...but I think the center may be the real problem here...it looks to me as if he is getting pushed back on every play. No way to run w/ the nosetackle owning you. Damion will settle down w/ a few games....smith is done....forever (hopefully). They need to get Carey in there for some reps so that they can be a solid O-line of the future. I just think the longer they play together the better they will be. Lets face it...only one way to go from here and its up.... :shakeno:
 
- Wanny should go now
- Get rid of fiedler (get him off the roster for good), maybe AJ as well
- Strongly consider what to do with our top 3-5 draft pick (i honestly can't see any better than 4-12 atm). I really like Matt Leinart or Alex Barron, but i don't think we can invest more picks at QB and Oline
- Make a serious run to try and sign Edge, though i don't know why he would want to play behind this Oline
- Big pickups in FA along the Oline, and a solid vet at QB
 
YES.......Get a solid Veteran QB, and The Biggest names you can find on O-line next season, and we'll be just fine.........This team is just an average QB,(we have far less than average now) and a couple of decent O-linemen away from being very good/dangerous
This IS NOT Time to rebuild.......We still have too many good players to do that, we're just missing a couple of pieces........(A horrible O-line, and Horrible QB could make 16 other probowlers look like garbage!!)

cap wise we will be fine.

NO WAY we keep fiedler with his cap hit next year, same with knight/freeman. One or 2 will go.
We wont keep Konrad if we keep booker, boston, and chambers. Konrad is the odd man out. Same with Seau. Those 3-4 moves should put us under the cap.
 
I say keep the offensive line and just get a REAL starting caliber QB.
I seriously wish we had picked up Kurt Warner right now!! He looks good.

Hopefully next year there are some QBs who are let go that we can bring in and easily win the job because right now, we look like trash.

Not when we trade Madison, cut or trade Seau, Knight, uh.....who else is gonna provide us with the offensive trades we need?? We're gonna have to trade away.

See, trading Madison would cause a CAP HIT, so thats not going to help at all....
