Best guess is anywhere between $7 and $10 million per year on his deal.

Don't be surprised if he gets less than what Kolb signed for last year.

That is if he makes it to Miami on Saturday.

5 years 40M and give him a 15M signing bonus upfront is what I think he gets and most of the salary backloaded with incentives.

People always point to the richness of the owner, but I don't understand why. There is a salary cap and the new collective bargaining agreement requires a certain percentage of the cap be spent. All teams are spending roughly the same amount. This isn't Major League Baseball where the big market teams can simply buy all of the best teams. Am I understanding this correctly or am I mistaken?
