What, at an *absolute minimum*, needs to happen during the 2008 draft to make you simply satisfied? This is without caveats, future outcomes, etc - just draft day events that you want to see happen at a minimum.

For me:
OT and CB in the first two rounds (don't care which picks as long as both of those get done on the first day).

We have to get a OT on the first day. I would also like a LB but could wait until the 3rd rd to get Phillip Wheeler if he's there.

Jake Long at #1 and a guy like Shuening, Greco or Rachal later on in the draft for a guard spot..

Fixing this O-line and going from being an area of weakness to one of the best in the NFL will make me a very VERY happy man..

And it will give our young guys on offense (Ginn, Beck, R Brown, Satele, Carey, L Booker etc) a real REAL boost to succeed in this league, and on this Miami team.. Those young guys will grow together and be very good for us for a good long time.

What a great day it would be for our future right there.

Address the offensive line on the first day. If we draft Jake, fine. If not, make sure it gets addressed in the second round.

Address the offensive line early and not be cute like the previous regimes with the low budget bealls outlet building of the line.

Jake Long, and Best player available at #32. I would love to see Kenny Phillips there.

the Fins "HAVE TO" address the OL. We only have seven OL under contract! I would love for them to draft C Long (I see being another AJ Duhe type of player for us) but the fact of the matter is J Long (who is going to make a fine tackle in the NFL, just not sure if it going to be on the left side) fills more of a need for us.

I guess I would be happy with:
1. J. Long OT
2a. A. Cason CB
2b. C. Nicks OT
3. A. Rubin DT
4. M. McGlynn OG
5. ----
6a. S. Johnson WR
6b. C. Hopkins TE
7a. J. Leman ILB
7b. K. Dykes DT/DE

Antoine Cason with #32, i dont think there will be anyone on the board (unless someone slips A LOT, like a top 10 pick type a la Alan Branch, or Brady Quinn) who is more worth that pick than him.

#1 Jake Long
#32 Groves/Brohm
#57 Carl Nicks
#64 Godfrey/King
#96 Wheeler

definately an OT in the 2nd round if not the first. a WR on the 2nd day along with a TE. early ILB (3rd or 4th round) and an early CB (2-4th)

the only thing that would satisfy me is if we could go back in time and trade up to get Joe Thomas

Agreed 100% you rarely go wrong drafting a CB, they can play about 5 positions concievably especially if they have a coachable attitude.

I would like a starter at OT, OG, and CB.
