Here is an old post of mine.
Well ive narrowed it down to 6...Ive ruled out both NE and SD assuming they will get some "opening" day prop..
Could likely eliminate the Jets and Bill's considering we havent opened with a divisional opponent in many years...
That leaves Oakland, SF, Seattle and Baltimore.....
Baseball is more relevant in SEA and BALT as far as scheduling goes considering CA has like 10 sports teams around at the same time...that being said
SF-Has opened with a divisional opp 3 straight years and an NFC opp every year since 1999.
OAK-maybe the NFL really does hate A Davis..the Raiders have opened on the east coast 3 out of 5 years!!
SEA-I know they are not in the same stadium as the Mariners but I doubt the Seahawks open at home considering its September baseball and the Yankees are in town to face the up and coming Mariners.
BAL-The only remaining team with ANY type of subplot, with the Ravens not only being Miami's only win...but now our old HC is the OC..Also the Orioles are home that day so I would say they're on the road also.
I think I have it down to two...BAL and OAK.....
The game that would have ANY relevance as far as hype goes is Baltimore, Im sure they want revenge for "Lemon to Camarillo" the old Cane stars in Lewis and Reed, Cam factor included I say....
SEPT 7TH--BAL@MIA
-ofcourse the nfl could go against the norm and schedule the Bills...who knows?? Just seems the most likely opp.
