What's more important to you a probowl RB or a probowl WR?

Would you trade R.Brown straight up for A.Boldin?

Personally this is the only way I would accept aquiring Boldin (atleast realistically), we could get a pretty decent RB in the 2nd or 3rd round to go with Williams and Cobbs.

James will not be back with Zona which then means they have 47mil under the cap!!!!!!!!! They could get TJ and now have an excellent RB to boot along with keeping their defense intact.

Or is R.Brown way too valuable to you to do the trade?

Well imo running backs are a lot easier to come by then a good Wideout, so yes i would trade him straight up.

No, I would never do a straight up trade involving Ronnie Brown. Ronnie I don't think gets enough credit for what he has done. I think people look at what Ricky did in 02' and the fact that Ronnie has only had one 1000+ yard rushing season.

His rushing yards don't always blow you out of the water, but he is a multi-talented player. He has tremendous hands and we have seen him make some incredible catches that even guys like TO would have trouble catching. He is a powerful runner who can catch and even throw the ball with success.

He may never be a talented running back like Ricky in his prime of Adrian Peterson of now, but he is a player that makes your offense so much better. Take 07' for example, the offense played well in the first seven games, but plummeted when Ronnie went down for the season.

He is a Pro Bowl player and someone I would really hate to see leave Miami. Running backs can be a dime a dozen, but multi-skilled running backs like Ronnie don't come around very often.

I hate trading away draft picks, but I think Boldin is a guy you could give up a pick to get. Boldin is an extreme talent, and I would rather have him teamed up with Ronnie then to swap Ronnie for him.

And please nobody take this as a slant towards Ronnie, but to get talent you would have to give up talent. I truely enjoy watching Ronnie play but I'm not willing to trade draft picks for Boldin and I don't believe Arizona takes only a first round pick for him. If R.Williams who's half as talented as Boldin is gets a 1st and 3rd then minimum that's what Arizona will be looking for. Why trade him for less? This situation doesn't really hurt Arizona at all they can patiently wait for the best offer.

Running backs are more valuable than Wrs, imho. RBs touch the ball 20+ times per game, where a WR touches it what 5-6 times per game. Plus running the ball and clock control are what every team strives for.

For me, this is a no-brainer. Ronnie Brown over Anquan in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even consider this trade for a second.

I understand that you have to give up talent to get talent, but I think if you trade Ronnie for Anquan straight up it is like giving up two players for one. Ronnie is just as dangerous as a receiver as he is a running back.

As for Arizona, I don't think this trade makes sense even if Edgerrin James doesn't return. They do have Tim Hightower they can turn over the keys for the running game.

Ronnie is a special player and a guy you want on your team to help build around. He always averages over 4 yards a carry and gives you a legitimate threat in the passing game.

With this being Ronnie's last year of his five year rookie contract, I hope the team uses some of its cap space to lock him up long term.

NO. Why trade for a guy we will not be able to fully use. Pennington is not the QB of the future for the Dolphins. We have speed at the WR position and we have not seen it yet. First off, you need to protect your QB and open bigger holes for the running backs. You need a defense to win games. You need a solid foundation to build a great team. We are on our way but still a long way to go. We had to run the Wildcat this year-does that tell you anything? This team had a light schedule and showed a lot of heart but it's time to build again through the draft and F.A. I, for one, want to give Chad H. all the protection he needs as he gets in the saddle. I wants R & R to have holes big enough to get my big butt through and I want a Shut down D that scares the hell out of other teams. I want to see Ginn turn on the jets and run down a long pass. Greg C. over the middle on a deeper route and go. Bess is a great addition. Lets get these people time to get downfield before we mortgage the franchise to get a guy that we can't get the ball to. We need Chad P. right now and he did a great job but he is not the Future. If anybody thinks we are 1 WR away from greatness they need to start following baseball and give up football.

Is this really even a debate??

Pro Bowl RB. Not only would he be a great runner, but if you're good enough, you can split out wide and create mis-matches that way.

That said there is no way that I trade Ronnie straight up for Quan...

EDIT: Nublar was dead on with his post. I completely agree.

ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME?

ronnie brown for anquan boldin?

1st off, the cards would laugh so hard at hearing that offer they
would probably choke on there own tounges, then break there phones
after slamming them down so hard!!

2nd. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ronnie brown right now is probably the
most over hyped rb in the nfl. no way in hell belongs in the "pro"
bowl. anquon boldin however is NO HYPE, is probably the 2nd best wr
in the nfl behind fitzgerald, and is worth far, far more than a mediocre,
inconsistant, injured rb [which are a dime a dozen]. an anquon deal
would cost us 2 #1 pics [worth every penny], or a 1st rounder and a
slew of other choices beside the 1, like a pair of 2nds and a 4th and
future 3rd. a #1 plus a 2nd and a few 3rds and a 5 down the road.

now, you can keep reaching on more than half of those pics to try
and find that caliber of player [which will end up costing the team
just as much money or more by the time his deal is up] or, you can
give up a few pics and have THE REAL DEAL IN HIS PRIME!!

this team needs this caliber of wr in the worst way and he is worth
a trade. had we had him this year, even with the injuries to guards
and dissapearance of a run game [dont go the wildcat thing] he would
gotten us at least 2-3 more wins!

i would give up the pics and still have some pics for o-line [which are
usually later round pics] AND there is always free agency to grab fat guards,
lb's dt's.

you just dont pass up this caliber of player [see bilichek and randy moss].

Are you saying that Boldin is the same caliber player as Randy Moss? That is just hilarious.

Boldin isn't even the best WR on his own team, and you act like he is the best WR in the whole league. And on top of that, his behavior is totally unprofessional. He is a whiny selfish little crybaby with a history of injuries. And his jealousy of Fitzgerald is sickening. Bolden is a selfish prick that doesn't give a rat's a$$ about the concept of being part of a team.

Boldin for Ronnie Brown? No thanks. I'll keep Ronnie Brown.

Although we are stacked with running backs, Ronnie is the head of that department, and you cannot let him go. He is versatile, intelligent, and he likes to hit back. And an excellent safety valve for CP.

first off s wr is more important than rb. a good wr could stretch the field and create spacing for the rb, depending on how the defense plays. the wr would we keep the safety out of the box. and you could plug in any rb in an offense and it would still be good. but not in a million years would i trade ronne for boldin.

that is like saying dt or lb, you would obviously go with a dt he controls the line and opens it up for the lb

We'd have to add our 1st round pick to make that deal just close to fair...
