What would make this upcoming season a successfull one in your eyes?

for me just to get to the playoffs and win at least one playoffs game. that would make me more than happy and I would cosider it very successfull(remember just two years ago we were 4-12 and we looked old and unispired).
 
Being back in the playoffs would make me happy. Once you get in the playoffs, anything can happen. I believe if we are a legitimate contender.
 
Playoffs yeah, but no wildcard. I want the Division!!!
 
Division definately. afc east isnt that great of a division. pats definately beatable.
 
Just making the playoffs would make it semi-successful but winning atleast one game would definitely make it a successful season.

A home playoff game.
 
Making the playoffs and being competitive even if we lose in the first round. 2007 I.M.O. is when we make our run. 100% Culpepper, Rasta Ricky back, and year 3 of the Sabanization process. 2007 is the year!!!!
 
well nick said it himself anything less than the playoffs will be a dissapointing season so i would have to start with making the playoffs would be great, but winning the division would be even sweeter, people would stop with all the patriot talk and we would be the head of the division....to have the ultimate season would be to go to the super bowl and win it all, but really once your in the playoffs anything can happen so if we make the playoffs i will be really bidding on a super bowl title
 
question- just a side note but when was the last time a team that was hosting the super bowl was in the playoffs that same year??...everyone talks about how the team to host the super bowl has never made it but i want to know when was the last time that team even made the playoffs...if/when we make the playoffs i think just the fact that it would be a home super bowl will really motivate the team and give them that extra boost
 
division. but in order for that to happen, saban will have to stay on top of things. i'm a little worried about this jt divorce thing. i hope jt and zt will stay professionals. no doubt that'll play a role on each other's games and the team as a whole since they are the heart and soul. but yeah, the division would be nice. anything past that and it's an outstanding plus.

Not having to scream or throw something at the TV would be a great season. Wifey would love that too.
 
If we were to win the division but lost our first game in the playoffs then I think it would be considered a successful season by everyone outside of the Dolphins realm (fans, players, media) however I think for everyone within the realm at least 1 playoff game is good
