Lets assume the FO and Sparano finally wake up and we acquire a legit #1 wr either thru draft, FA or trade. Playing opposite to #1 would be Cam, I hope. He played his heart out for the team. He is a poor mans version of Steve Largent. With Hartline coming on strong, inserting himself into regular rotation and contributing in three wr set, Bess thus become expendable.
Bess is young, smart and sure handed, I am sure he is a valuable addition to other team as a perfect complement to their #1 wr.
What should we ask for Bess and what team will be interested?
Raiders and Detroit are always looking for wr….may be a third or forth round this year plus a late rounder the next??

I think Cam goes before Bess and I was pondering what we would get earlier today. Perhaps a 4th or 5th.

That would be a tragedy. Cam is the all-hearted type of player BP like. Both Cam and Bess are very similar, thou I think Cam has better hand and get open better, given his age, Bess would get us better value in the market.

Please lets don't do with him what we did with Welker.......i say keep him
With the idea of strong running first of BP and TS, how would you find enough playing time for #1 ( assume we get one ), Cam, Bess and Hartline, and probably a young wr in grooming.

I think the best we could hope for would be a 4th. But I think it would be a mistake to trade him. Having a true #1 threat in the line up would make Bess that much more valuable.

ridicoulous, where do you fans come from?? yea trade our best receiver away when we need to improve the receiver position....oh dear....

2 weeks ago people started threads asking what we could get for Camarillo in a trade.

Last week it was people starting threads asking what we could get for Ginn in a trade.

Now it's Bess.

After after next week's game it will be about Hartline.

And on and on and on she goes.

Bess has alot of potential. He's putting up very good numbers playing with a first year starting QB, a bunch of WRs who would be fighting for 3rd string on most teams depth chart and no TE whatsoever.

You team him up with a Dez Bryant or Brandon LaFell via the draft and all of a sudden we are looking very good not only at the WR position but offense as a whole.

holly hell bess is the best wr we got right now. why trade him? doesnt watching welker play make you sick? bess is the same type of wr.

what we need is a true #1 wr on one side, then you put your speedster ginn on the other side ( i know hes had some probs, but i think the presence of a proven #1 will help him alot), then you got bess in the slot. that would be a match nightmare for teams. ginn and the new guy running deep with bess being covered by a lb underneath. we would eat them up.

The first step of improving the wr corp is to get rid of Ginn, and acquire a speedy legit #1, then Cam, Bess and Hartline will become even more effective. That is the model of the ideal wr corp, a deep and a procession.
The problem is that all three, Cam, Bess and Hartline are cut out of the same mold. We do not need three procession type in a team, may be another down field type to release the #1 in spots. Therefore one of those three become expendable, who has the best value for us......well, its Bess.
