Change up the talk from all coaching. Who would you guys like to see as our starting running back next year?

I would love to keep Lamar Miller especially if we get mike Shanahan I could see him having a huge year. I'm sure most people won't wanna pay him and roll with ajayi. Like what ajayi did but can you lean on him as a feature back I'm not sure.

Just wondering what you guys think, also if you want a free agent or draft a running back leave some feed back of who you like
 
Lamar is so under rated it baffles me why people still want to get rid of him. He's a homegrown talent that we need to keep. If we don't start learning to hold on to the players we've groomed then we will NEVER be more than a mediocre team.

I would love to re-sign Miller....I think he is an excellent back, can block and is good in the passing game. I would keep him and continue to develop Ajayi as he is a promising young back as well.

Wouldn't mind seeing a fullback (there, I said it) on this roster or a bruising short yardage back.
 
I agree I think him and OV both need to be resigned, cut the fat of the roster for cap space resign these dudes and build through the draft that's my hope for this offseason!
 
Pay 26. Good player. Good person. Low mileage for his experience, since we didn't run the damn ball under Philbin.
 
Pay Miller. He's in his prime and he's worked hard to develop his game. Why create another hole on the team.

I would too, but it really depends on who the next head coach is. If it's Shanahan people would definitely want him back but I don't think it would be the best decision for the team cap wise. Miller isn't going to be cheap and Shanahan has proven time and time again he can find late round RB's who excel in his scheme. That money would probably be better used elsewhere in free agency like getting a decent LG, CB or FS.

He seriously may be the most underrated guy in the league. Behind a very meh offensive line he's averaged over 4.5 YPC and is always a big play threat. Keep him, pay him, and roll with a Miller/Ajayi 1-2 punch.
