1) Get the starters (besides o-line) out early. Give them 1-2 series depending on how they do the 1st series. The little bit of extra work isnt worth the injury risk.

2) Leave the starting o-line (besides Long if he plays and Incognito perhaps) out there until half. They need all the work they can get. This also gives Moore a chance to work with the 1st team O-line. Gives him a fighters chance to get some work in and instead of running for his life behind the 2nd team O-line. I wanted Sparano to leave the O line in there for 3 qtrs last week. They deserved to be out there all game the way they played. I doubt if Sparano is smart enough to give the O line the extra work as it makes too much sense.

3) A resolution to the safety battle. I'm guessing whoever starts tonight is the starter come opening night. Last week it was Jones but Id be surprised if Clemons isnt back in there tonight. One of these guys need to make their presence felt early on before the back-ups take over.

4) No injuries. Well, I wouldnt be devastated if Colombo gets hurt. I hate to say it because I dont want the guy to get hurt but it seems thats the only way to get him out of the starting lineup. For whatever reason, Tony loves this guy. Murtha isnt much better and he commits penalties left and right but this would force Sparano/Ireland to go out and get somebody to compete with Murtha.

5) Gates, Moore and Wallace. I want to see these guys get plenty of opportunities to make plays and leaving the 1st team offensive line in until half would give Moore a chance to get them the ball.

I wanna see who wins the FS battle, but by what Armando said, who ever starts at FS isn't the starter

I would like the next undrafted guy to make a statement like Bess did a few years ago.

I would love to see the next guy come out of nowhere and be worthy of a probowl.

Will I see it?... :ponder:

Surprising. I don't disagree with it except for the O line part obviously. According to Sparano the terrible O line play last week could be fixable. So why not get the bums out there and fix it? Maybe because the O line got physically dominated and it had nothing to do with "gelling". Maybe he figures being too slow and too weak is fixable? Thanks for the news. Why isnt Bess sitting out as well? Im guessing you just didnt list Fasano and Bess? Surely they arent the only starters playing.
