There's a guy who fell off the face of the Earth.

Not that I ever thought he was very good, but he'd probably be a better backup than most of the backups teams currently have in the league. Hell some teams are so bad off he's probably better than their starters! :)

Mediocre Qb but weird that he just fell off the face of the earth.

Ok, let's try again. anybody want to answer this question seriously?

I think he just...fell of the face of the earth

Actually in all probability he retired. not sure really, but he was injured a lot and up there in age

That is a pretty good question. I don't know, but he wasn't a very "bad" QB so to speak, he just tended to stay in the pocket to long, which resulted in way to many sacks. But he was better than anyone we have on the roster right now.

I like when I'm scouting a rookie QB on madden and I get the comment "He has the moves of a Rob Johnson. Exactly."

Ah, the Internet is a wonderful thing.

rob is here

Dude works for his dad now!

This whole time I thought that you were Rob Johnson. I though it was kind of cool to have a former NFL QB posting on Finheaven.com. Thanks for ruining my day. I have not felt this bad since my brother told me that Santa was not real. Anyway to answer your question:

Rob Johnson (born March 18, 1973 in Newport Beach, CA) is a former quarterback from USC who played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, and Oakland Raiders until 2004. Johnson joined the NFL in 1995 and is currently a coach at Camp Quarterback, a program run by Rob's father Bob that has produced players such as Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer.

Rob Johnson holds the NFL record for most sacks per passing attempt, earning the nickname "robo-sack" due to his reluctance to throw the ball away.

hahahahahahha did anybody read that camp quarterback website? THESE ARE ACTUAL COMMENTS UNDER HIS BIO:

Rob Johnson is best known for his rein as #11 Quarterback for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills, where his unique style and technique helped lead his team to a Super Bowl championship.

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Helped LEAD HIS TEAM TO A SUPER BOWL? He had nothing to do with that team's success. In fact, he led a successful drive against the Steelers in their MNF loss then FUMBLED THE BALL INSIDE THE RED ZONE. He had about as much to do with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl as I had to do with America winning its freedom from England.

Rob has been flexing his skills for 10 years in the NFL (in 50 plus games). He is universally recognized for his quick arm high level of athleticism.

Is this for real?

Johnson entered the NFL as a fourth round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995, where he spent his first three years. From there Rob went on to the Buffalo Bills from 1998-2001 where he threw for over 2,100 yards in 2000 with 12 touchdown passes. Afterwards in 2002 he joined Tampa Bay where he was considered the highest-rated passer during his time with the Buccaneers.

Not sure what he means here. In terms of passer rating? Unless he lives in a magical country where 75.8 is considered larger than 92.9, which was Brad Johnsons passer rating, then no.

In terms of quality of play? :sidelol: He had some moments during that season but ultimately looked like his normal mediocre self. What a joke.

I think his dad runs the site, seriously.

If RJ is responsible in even the smallest of ways for Tampa Bay's SB win, then I'm a ****er spaniel named Checkers. Still though, I'm sure he has lots of money from the Bills FO and he's living the high life.
