I tired of the excuses and tired of sucky, old and injured qb's we need to do whatever it takes to get a franchise QB I dont give a crap how many picks we give up or how many players we got to trade! sometimes you just have to pay the price! the giants did it and so did denver! imo do whatever it takes to get brady freaking quinn!!! and dont tell me we cant trade up that high! it can happen it just depends on when the saban and muller wake the hell up! i know we have cpepp but come on is he reliable? no, and he will be 31 soon!

The only guy I would trade up for in this year's draft is Brian Brohm if he was coming out. Everyone else is simply if they are available when we draft

You know, I agree with alot of what you said, but I don't think we have to ammo to go get Quinn. We definately need offense though. I don't think Saban will invest much into getting Quinn when he gave up a 2 for Culpepper and he is not yet healthy. I want a big time LT or WR. A TE as well as Mcmichael is a bit overrated, as is Chambers.

The question is this...what would you be willing to give up to get Quinn?

Denver had two first round picks which allowed them to move up. We don't have such luxury.

After denying the thought of drafting a QB in the 1st round all season long, I've changed my mind. I want to draft a QB in the 1st. Now, I think Culpepper will be back and effective next season. However, a first round QB will give us a better backup for the short term and our QB for the long term. If Culpepper doesn't get on track, gets injured, or just doesn't do anything productive 4-6 games into the season, plant the rookie in and start the future.

I think Quinn is out of the question because we won't be able to get him. I would like either JaMarcus Russell, Troy Smith, or Brian Brohm. I don't think Brohm is coming out (I think I might have read it somewhere), and Russell should fall in the middle of the 1st and Smith (I think) is slated to be there in the late to early second. Whichever of the three, I think we need to address the QB situation this year.

Sad to say but we might have a decent prospect on our roster: Cleo Lemon. Obviously The sabanator and mulark thought Joey was better and they know more than we do...right?
