What's going on with Dan Wilkinson???

Why haven't we sign him yet? Is he still considering retiring from football or what? Has anyone heard anything?
 
i want to know something to. last i read we were negotiating and he was meeting with other teams but really loved miami.
 
I think they probably quibbled over price tag.

Plus, any lack of urgency to bring in Dan Wilkinson MAY be interpreted as growing confidence in Manuel Wright. Just putting it out there. If you know my history I'm not one to be very soft on Manny Wright, either.
 
Have no idea what's going on between the two sides. Could be money because I believe that he wants like 2 million a year or something like that.
 
im thinking that is the hold up b/c if it wasnt it would be done but if he dosent fit the budget than oh well
 
Wilkinson doesn't want to go through mini-camps. He will sign with someone during traning camp.
 
Dude...how many threads are you going to spam? I realize you want fins fans but I don't think this is the appropriate forum for that and you should just create a thread anyway.

Well, show a little patience...and don't be surprised if a mod catches all this spam and sends you a nice warning note.

You're not setting a good example. They already moved your thread out to the appropriate forum and now you're trying to circumvent the system by spamming all the threads with your plea for getting people to join your league.

The example you're setting is that if you really want something and you post a thread asking for it, and it gets moved to the appropriate forum, it's ok to cut and paste your message to a dozen different active threads just to get what you want. If everyone felt it was ok to do that you'd have a ton of off-topic spam posts copied to all threads and it would be pandemonium on the main forum, worse than it already is.
 
jason cole, in his q&a section said we are the only team talking to him right now...he said he talked to his agent on monday...
 
If Saban wants him, we'll get him. If Saban doe NOT want him, then neither do I. Suspect its all about money at this stage, and TC doesn't start till July 28 so there's no rush & Saban knows that. It's not about Wilkinson not wanting to go through minicamps now, there are none, no camps of any kind till TC.
