So i've been kind of on the border with the whole Stephen Ross thing and i want to know what your guys opinions are. I hate the new song, minority owners, and well pretty much the whole "sell the dolphins purity for some hip hop garbage" Im 21 and i looked to football to get away from the whole social influence in our culture. Now it seems like Ross is blending the two and its really really dissappointing. I love our players, i love our coaching staff, but i mean i cant take any more change, lets try to hold on to some substance! Every theme becomes a theme park and it seems that that is exactly whats happening to our beloved Fins. :tumbleweed:

P.S. This is not to take away anything from the product thats on the field

Really? i see your from AZ, every time the dolphins scored against jacksonville we had that "t-pain" song blasting, people were booing nonstop and alot of fans against carolina tonight are goin to have a silent protest where everytime they hear it they are goin to put their hands over their ears. If your goin to have all these celeb owners and try to be what the Lakers are to the NBA, just stay out of the game day experience.

Ross is a very savvy business man that is trying new things out. He'll stick with what works and ditch what doesn't. Simple.

If the teams wins games, I don't care if Kirsty Alley is a minority owner and gives weight watcher speaches at every halftime. I really just don't care in the slightest about anything other than the product on the field which I will continue to follow no matter how good or bad they are or who owns the team.

Something I don't understand. Is it because of the Hip Hop remix that you don't like the song. What about people who actually like that song.
Would you like the song if the remix was "country" or "heavy metal"???

The same way I cannot force you to like the T-pain remix, you cannot open a new thread (there are 100's of threads allready related to the same subject) and force others to hate/boycott the song.

I'll tolerate it I guess but I draw the line the day Parcells walks and Ross brings in Carl Peterson. That will be an absolute disaster. I'm hoping to hell it never happens.

I really dont care about that pre game crap and all the hoopla. Ross is not messing with the Coaching or players so all that doesnt matter. I'm all about watching from the opening kick off to the last kneel down. During the commercials and half time i'm either taking a piss or getting more beer. Now if all this stuff attracts more fans i'm all for it, nothing more exciting than having a full house and everyone screaming their lungs out during a defensive stand.

Well the fact is, he is keeping his hands off the product... So all that stuff is and should remain nothing more than a sideshow... I think that he might be just a little excited to play with his new toy...

The real truth is nothing will sell the Phins better than winning... Not all the 'spit polish' in the world.

Come on people, the T-Pain version is better than the old version. The song its self is just horrible and hokey. At least he is trying new things with this team. We have 1000 threads on this site every year it seems like talking about how our stadium looks empty all the time. Well this is one way Ross is trying to get that fixed. If you get some people in the stadium that arn't exactly football fans but they are there for the atmosphere and can enjoy the game thats when you get the staduim competely full. Change is always enevitable, just gotta go with the flow.

I'll get over it. After all, I thought when they named the team the Dolphins, I was going to puke. What kind of a wimpy name is that for a football team.

Have you not read the other 459 threads concerning this topic? You can see the board's opinions there, not in another thread about Ross.

Its all about business/money thats all. He will leave the football decesions to the football people. Were I might agree on some of your points as long as our great proud franchise continues to win and eventually raises the Lombardi trophy thats all that really matters...
