It looks like this guy is waiting to be hit as soon as he gets the handoff. I'm still waiting for this guy to break one. I was getting accustomed to seeing RW break a few each game but Brown and others are getting creamed immediately. It seems as if they don't even run with their head up but rather down bracing for the contact. I am aware that the O-line is nothing to write home about but you need to make some plays on your own. What gives?

He does make a lot of plays by himself, he carries defenders out of the backfiled for a couple yards every time he gets the ball.

True, but perhaps if he had better vision he wouldn't have to.

When defenders are in the backfield as soon you get the ball it doesn't matter how good your vision is.

It almost looks as if he's running at those defenders to carry them a few yards! seriously..he is displaying no vision at all. He always runs into either a scrum of defenders or the backs of the Dolphins blocking for him, even when there are lanes (sometimes) or he would get a few more yards by taking it outside (sometimes). Being a beast with no ability to see lanes/holes when they exist ain't going to get us the yards we need

I don't think he was worth #2 overall in the draft..but he's not a complete bust

Ronnie did not do well finding daylight in the New England game...he hasn't been "on" all year but he had been making some plays. I think the fumble may have rattled him a little and he was hurt at one point. The field didn't help...that Pats rookie reminds me of Ricky when finding holes and having vision and he definitely couldn't do it on Sunday either.

The impression I get everytime I see him is one word....SOFT.

His body is soft...

His running style is soft....

His personality is soft....

His hands are soft.....(hey at least one positive for the RB homers).

YOU GUYS BASHING RONNIE ARE CRAZY!!!

Soft???? Are you even watching the games!?!?!??!!

No vision??? He can see the multiple defenders hitting him the instant he gets the rock.

You guys are ****ing nuts. I don't care if I get banned for using foul language. ****ing nuts is the only proper way to characterize these unfounded criticisms. The Enlgish language doesn't have a better term.

YOU GUYS ARE ****ING NUTS!!!!

Yes, unfortunately I am.
:boohoo:

ronnie is having to BREAK ONE just to get back to the line

Okay last year Ronnie was late into camp, and sharing time with Ricky. This year the Oline is a disaster, and our quarterback has to get rid of the ball so quick. If our quarterback is barely having time to get rid of the ball, what makes you think that holes are going to open up for Ronnie, and stay open long enough for him to hit them?

That is a FACT. He is pulling a spin move before he hits the line of scrimmage. However, when he does get the tiny excuse for a hole our O-line provides he is not running "downhill" too mych east and west, IMO.

vision .. heck he could use every lens known to man .. he's never going to see holes that aren't there .. whats wrong with ronnie brown .. the same thing thats wrong with Cpep .. he's got so many expectations and no one to help shoulder the responsibility of a failing offense

Before some of you throw Ronnie under the bus, and run him over 3 or 4 times, why don't you wait to make that judgement until he at least has a good Oline, and then if this issue still exists then you are entitled to be critical of him. There isn't the same Oline in there any given week it seems except for the last two, and Brown is going east to west, but the man is trying find a hole to hit.
